Your February 2023 Sex Horoscope Is Here, And This Could Be Your Hottest Month Yet

BY JACQUELINE TEMPERA

If you were hoping for an astrologically spicy forecast just in time for your Valentine’s Day plans, you’re in luck! The stars are serving up some seriously dreamy romantic energy this month, so buckle up.

Starting with the Full Moon in independent Leo on the 5th, you’re likely embracing your own brand of uniqueness—and you aren’t looking to compromise. “There is this desire to follow the heart and be acknowledged for who we are,” says Donna Page, a professional astrologer with a graduate degree in counselling psychology based in Atlanta.

The full moon is also tied closely to the planet Uranus, which always encourages us, mere mortals, to expect the unexpected and, basically, bet on ourselves. So, if you are not being fully embraced for the beautiful unicorn you are, it’s time to hit the run, hon! “Change is on the horizon, and the thing about change is it can come whether we want it to or not,” Page adds.

From the beginning of February through the 20th, Venus, the planet that rules over love, will be in sweet, dreamy Pisces. This is a great time to hit the town for some dates, and really go after what you want: a.k.a., that person who is going to love you for YOU! Then, when Venus shifts into fiery Aries on the 20th, this energy is only amplified.

Wondering what all this means for your zodiac sign? Ahead, Page shares her February 2023 sex horoscope predictions:

ARIES (MARCH 21–APRIL 19)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: This is not the time to hold back, Aries. Between the positively dreamy Piscean energy of the month to Venus (the planet of love) literally hanging in your sign, the world is your oyster. Feeling like picking up a cutie at the club with the girls? Throw on your favourite lipstick, and go for it. Craving an intimate dinner with your crush? That can happen, too. Shoot your shot(s), Aries. The planets are aligned in your favour!

In a relationship: If you’re feeling like Tinkerbell herself sprinkled a little fairy dust on your relationship this month, you have Venus to thank. The planet that rules over love is in Aries starting on the 20th, making for a very sweet time of the year for you and your boo. This month also pushes you to grow (all that Uranian energy, after all), so try having some deep conversations with bae. Bust out a fun card game, and let your guard down. This may be just the moment you and your sweetheart need during this month of romance. Plus, intimate conversations can lead to intimate sex, so you have that to look forward to, as well.

TAURUS (APRIL 20–MAY 20)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: While you may feel like burrowing under the sheets alone for the month of February, be sure to make some time for socializing. You’re definitely craving some solo rejuvenation (which has its merits), but don’t throw the whole social schedule out. Pop into your friend’s birthday or that engagement party you’re not sure you want to attend. You may just meet someone who catches your eye!

In a relationship: The full moon is highlighting the part of your chart associated with comfort and home, and as a Taurus, that’s pretty much your thing anyway. So, expect lots of Netflix and chillin’ this month. Invite your boo over for a movie night, and if you’re feeling fancy (when are you NOT?), throw together a little charcuterie spread. While you may have a bit on the social calendar this month, be sure to spend lots of quality time at home with your person. Your relationship will be stronger for it.

GEMINI (MAY 21–JUNE 20)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: Listen to your heart, Gemini. If there’s something or someone you’ve been wanting to go after, this Pisces season is the time to do it. But even if there’s not anyone currently on your radar, with Venus in this dreamy sign until the 20th and the full moon bringing up some extremely romantic vibes, you are pretty much guaranteed to meet someone who piques your interest.

In a relationship: The full moon brings wanderlust energy into your life, so lean into it, Gem. You and your boo don’t need to go far to have a good time—something as simple as a trip to the new restaurant downtown can be enough to bring back that spark between you just in time for Valentine’s Day. Follow your heart, and don’t be afraid to communicate what’s on your mind. Sharing is caring, after all.

CANCER (JUNE 21–JULY 22)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: Okay, single Cancer: Allow me to be a bit woo-woo for a moment, because you are in for a treat this month if you use the energy to your advantage. The powerful energy of Venus in Pisces is making your manifestation skills stronger than usual. So take some time to get clear on who and what you are calling into your life. Looking for a partner who is ready to pick up and travel the world at a moment’s notice? Write it down and keep it in mind for the next time you’re doing your late-night swipe around the Internet. Whatever you want is closer than you think.

In a relationship: Take a moment to examine your relationship this month, Cancer. Are things feeling balanced? Or are you pulling out all the stops, buying presents, and booking reservations, only to get a lacklustre response in return? You deserve big love and appreciation, so make sure that is what is going on in your personal life, Cancer. You have too big of a heart to waste it on someone who isn’t reciprocating your love of grand gestures. Speak your mind and follow your heart, and you will get exactly what you need.

LEO (JULY 23–AUGUST 22)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: People are swarming you like bees to honey right now, Leo. Enjoy it, but be judicious about who you let into your inner circle, especially while your energy is so strong. The full moon is in Leo on the 5th, so it’s likely you’re meeting a lot of new people during this time. Use your intuition to look for those you feel the most yourself around. You might be surprised by who you connect with.

In a relationship: Your intuition is strong at the beginning of the month with the full moon in your sign, so keep all of your eyes open. (Yes, even your third eye!) If you’ve been feeling a little resistant in your relationship, now is the time to lean into it and explore what could be going better. Tell your lover what’s on your mind; chances are, they’ve just been waiting for the right moment to share what’s up.

VIRGO (AUGUST 23–SEPTEMBER 22)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: If you’re searching for a relationship, this is the month to go after it, Virgo. With Venus, the planet that rules over love, in Pisces (your opposing sign) for the first 20 days of the month, you’ll be feeling some vibes. If you’re out on the town, do not be surprised if a cutie (or three) buys you a drink. You just have that glow about you right now.

In a relationship: The relationship energy is strong for you this month, Virgo. While Venus is in dreamy Pisces for the first 20 days of the month, enjoy some TLC with your lover. This is the time to get in touch with each other emotionally and physically. Really listen to what’s going on with your partner; you may learn something important!

LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23–OCTOBER 22)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: With the full moon in Leo highlighting a part of your chart dealing with relationships, it’s possible you’re feeling extra social this month, Libra. Keep your eyes peeled on your next grocery run: Maybe someone special is reaching for the organic kale at the same time as you, or maybe you’ll brush up against a cutie in the coffee aisle. You are feeling yourself, and others are noticing.

In a relationship: The full moon on the 5th highlights a part of your chart that deals with relationships, which is great news for you and boo! Make sure to set aside some time for a date night. You deserve a dedicated moment to appreciate each other’s company, and you’re in just the right mood for it.

SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23–NOVEMBER 21)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: You have no shortage of options when it comes to love and sex this month, Scorpio. Great news, since connecting with people is sort of your forte. With Venus, the planet that rules over love, in fellow water sign Pisces, you’re in a good flow with your career and friendships. It’s practically radiating from you, and you may catch the attention of someone special!

In a relationship: With Venus, the planet that rules our love lives, hanging out in fellow water sign Pisces for the first part of the month, your ‘ship is smooth sailing. Make those special Valentine’s Day plans, and just spend time legitimately dating your partner. Life can get hectic, but this month of love is an important time to remember why you appreciate your S.O. You wouldn’t be with them if you didn’t, right?

SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 22–DECEMBER 21)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: You are itching to travel somewhere, Sagittarius, which makes sense—the full moon is seriously highlighting your wanderlust this month. It’s the beginning of the year, so maybe your PTO bank is a bit fuller than usual. If so, take the time to get away. Have adventure on the brain, pack your bags, and stay open. There are lots of interesting people to meet out there, so shoot your shot, Sag!

In a relationship: The full moon on the 5th brings out your romantic side, Sag, and just in time for Valentine’s Day! The part of your chart that deals with travel is also being highlighted, so what better time to plan a steamy getaway with your lover? Get out of town for a few days, or book a hotel room for the night. It’s fun to spice it up, and it’ll bring you closer together.

CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22–JANUARY 19)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: The more you show your true self, the more likely you are to meet people in alignment with your life, Capricorn. So, put your weirdo self out there! Your quirks are actually strengths, and the right person will see that. Plus, with the full moon highlighting the part of your chart that deals with intimacy, you’re likely to hit it off and get deep with someone this month.

In a relationship: Are you feeling a little more sensual than usual, Cap? The full moon is highlighting the part of your chart that deals with intimacy, so it’s possible the heat is dialled all the way up in your relationship right now. Take advantage of this time. Perhaps it’s placing that lingerie order for a special night, or just having an intimate night of massages and deep conversation with your boo. Follow your heart’s desire, and you’ll be headed for a lot of fun.

AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20–FEBRUARY 18)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: This is a great month to put yourself out there, Aquarius. With Venus in Pisces highlighting your finances, you feel the urge to spend. And, let’s face it, we all need a little treat every now and again. So buy that dress you’ve been lusting after and plan a fun night on the town with your besties—you never know who you might run into!

In a relationship: Valentine’s Day only comes around once a year, so why not indulge, Aquarius? It’s your season, and you should be splurging in every area of your life
including romance! Maybe your partner has been begging you to get away for a weekend, or to hit a sexy new cocktail bar in town that’s a little bit out of your usual budget. Now is not the time to pinch pennies. Let loose, because your relationship will be stronger for it.

PISCES (FEBRUARY 19–MARCH 20)

Zodiac Illustration by Dia Pacheco

Single: With Venus, the planet that rules over love, in your sign for most of the month, the energy couldn’t be better for finding romance. And it’s February, a.k.a. the month of love. How lucky are you?! Take some time to take care of yourself this month, Pisces. Go for that massage or facial. Buy that fancy outfit you know will look amazing on a night out. It’s time to spice things up and indulge in your luxurious side.

In a relationship: It’s a great month to be in a relationship for you, Pisces, because Venus (the planet that rules over love) is in your sign until the 20th. Expect the romance to heat up this month, especially around Valentine’s Day. You are feeling more attractive than ever, and your partner is definitely noticing. Spend some much-needed quality time together. You’ll enjoy it!

Valeria found amazing success in her own right, building a sterling reputation in the industry and a thriving career as a life coach, speaker, and trainer. That career allowed her to pursue her aspirations of helping others realize their full potential and become the best version of themselves.  While that career was rewarding, her desire to impact people in a more profound and direct way led her to Velovita, where together with her husband, she can use this platform to lift others up.

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man has been sentenced in Providence County Superior Court to 15 years at the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI) after pleading to child molestation, sexually assaulting a boy under 14 between 2014 and 2016.

Michael Elgar, 41, of Warwick. pleaded nolo contendere (no contest) to two counts of first-degree child molestation at a Feb. 9, hearing in in Providence County Superior Court, Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced Monday.

At the hearing before Superior Court Justice Richard Raspallo, the Court sentenced the defendant to 30 years, with 15 years to serve at the ACI, and a 15-year suspended sentence and 30 years of

“The words are difficult to say, but this is truth: this defendant sexually assaulted a boy he knew, repeatedly, over a number of years. No sentence is long enough, and nothing can undo the devastating harm the defendant’s conduct visited on his young victim. But that courageous boy stood up, came forward, and ensured that this defendant will no longer be in a position to harm others.”

probation. The defendant was ordered by the Court to register as a sex offender, complete sex offender counseling, and is subject to community supervision, including GPS monitoring for life. The court also issued a No Contact Order between the defendant and his victim.

“The words are difficult to say, but this is truth: this defendant sexually assaulted a boy he knew, repeatedly, over a number of years. No sentence is long enough, and nothing can undo the devastating harm the defendant’s conduct visited on his young victim. But that courageous boy stood up, came forward, and ensured that this defendant will no longer be in a position to harm others. I am so grateful to him and his family,” saidNeronha. “I am also grateful to the Providence and Coventry Police Departments for their outstanding work in this case.”

Had the case proceeded to trial, the State was prepared to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that between 2014 and 2016, the child molestation defendant sexually assaulted a male victim under the age of 14, who was known to him, at a residence in Providence and a location in Coventry.

The victim reported the assaults to law enforcement several years later in 2021.

“Cases involving the sexual exploitation of children are some of the most heartbreaking investigations conducted by the men and women of the Providence Police Department,” said Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez. “Our thoughts are with the victim and his loved ones at this time, and hope that this verdict can bring a sense of justice to them, following their traumatic experience.”

“I commend the young victim in this case for coming forward and exhibiting great courage throughout the investigation and prosecution of this case,” said Coventry Police Chief Frederick Heise, III. “These cases have a profound impact on so many connected to the victim, whether it be family or the greater community. I thank the members of the Coventry and Providence police departments and the Office of the Attorney General who worked diligently on this case to ensure that justice was served.”

Detective Koren Garcia of the Providence Police Department, Detective Paul Pacheco of the Coventry Police Department, and Special Assistant Attorneys General Amanda Jacober and Meagan Thomson of the Office of the Attorney General led the investigation and prosecution of the case.

7’3 Kai Sotto is showing some SERIOUS NBA potential | 2022 NBA Draft sleeper pick?

#KaiSotto #Adelaide36ers #NBL #2022nbadraft

Kai Sotto has been a revelation for the Adelaide 36ers in Australia’s NBL. In the 36ers’ recent win against Melbourne United, Sotto hit a clutch dagger to seal the win for Adelaide in overtime. Over the past few weeks, Kai Sotto has been ranked as the top trending prospect in media outlets such as ESPN and Draft Express, thanks to the Filipino big man’s great performance in the NBL. In his latest game, Sotto tied his NBL season high of 12 points. The 7 foot 3 Kai Sotto also hit a clutch dagger in overtime to seal the game for the 36ers. Over Sotto’s past 3 games against Melbourne United, Tasmania Jackjumpers and the Illawara Hawks, he has scored 12 points in each occasion. This season, Kai Sotto is averaging more than 8 points and more than 4 rebounds in just under 16 minutes per game. However, Sotto has been enjoying great usage. Prior to signing in the NBL, Sotto signed with the G League Ignite team together with current NBA rookies Jalen Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Isaiah Todd, and Daishen Nix. However, Sotto chose to play for the Gilas Pilipinas team in the FIBA Asia Qualifiers, causing him to leave the G League Ignite team just a few weeks after. Sotto also learned of his 2021 NBA draft ineligibility soon after. However, Sotto is once again reestablishing his game in the NBL as a rookie for the Adelaide 36ers, which is a team that notably produced 2021 NBA draft lottery pick Josh Giddey. NBA scouts reportedly have Kai Sotto in their radar for the 2022 NBA draft.

But will Kai Sotto declare for the 2022 NBA draft after what looks to be a promising NBL rookie season? This season, Kai Sotto has been playing fairly well in comparison to other potential NBA draft prospects such as Ousmane Dieng, Ariel Hukporti, Makur Maker. He’s also being highly regarded together with guys such as Hugo Besson and Luke Travers. But will Kai Sotto become the first full-blooded Filipino to be drafted in the NBA, joining players with Filipino heritage in the NBA such as Jordan Clarkson and Ignite teammate Jalen Green. In this video, we’ll dive into Kai Sotto’s game and how NBA scouts see him.
