High school sports scores and top performers from Tuesday, Sept. 26

Here are scores and statistics from Tuesday’s Orlando area high school sports events:

Girls Volleyball

Lake Brantley 3, Lyman 0

Buzz: Sam Bowron had 10 kills and Lanie Varitek had 25 assists for the Patriots (11-5) in a 25-15, 25-11, 25-18 road win.

Winter Park 3 Freedom 0

Buzz: WInter Park (15-2)  swept Freedom (8-8) by the scores of  25-14, 25-17, 25-11. This victory marks win No. 500 for Winter Park coach Stephanie Gibson. She has more than 800 career wins. Fallon Stewart led the Wildcats with 11 kills and 3 aces, Emma Ortiz had 4 aces and 12 digs, while Paige Lehman added 5 aces and 5 digs.

Hagerty 3, Lake Mary 0

Buzz: The Huskies (12-4)  topped Lake Mary (9-6) by the scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-17. Brielle Mullen led Hagerty with 20 assists and 5 service aces. Keely Starnes had 3 blocks, while Mayte Camacho added 13 digs.

Orangewood Christian 3, St. John Lutheran 1

Buzz: Orangewood Christian improved its record to 10-6 with a 4-set victory over St. John Lutheran (9-4), which is ranked 4th in 2A. The Rams won 25-15, 17-25, 25-23, 25-19. Marissa Forness led Orangewood Christian with 17 kills and 2 blocks, while Kaleigh Langmo had 11 kills and 3 aces. Robyn Stephens added 40 assists and 1 kill in the win.

Bishop Moore 3, Dr. Phillips 0

Buzz: The Hornets (13-2) swept the Panthers (4-5) by the scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-21. Emily Schellenberg led Bishop Moore with 6 kills, 5 aces and 8 digs, while  Sophia Iglesias added 5 aces, 6 digs and 14 assists.

Trinity Prep 3, Montverde Academy 1

Buzz: Victoria Hill led the Saints (5-9) with 17 kills on her 17th birthday.

Olympia 3, Windermere 0

Buzz: The Titans (13-5) swept the Wolverines (7-3) by the scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-23. Laney Perdue led the way for Olympia with 14 kills, while Mia Diouf added 12 kills. Madison Wehr had 32 assists in the win.

East Ridge 3, Lake Minneola 1

Buzz: Nayellis Cabello led East Ridge (10-0) over St. Cloud (4-14) with 15 kills, 7 assists, 10 digs and 4 blocks. Breylen Fairly also added 21 assists, 7 digs and 4 aces for the Knights.

Oviedo 3, Lake Howell 0

Buzz: The Lions (14-6) rolled Lake Howell (8-7) by the scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-15.

New Smyrna Beach 3, DeLand 2

Buzz: New Smyrna Beach outlasted DeLand in five sets 16-25, 25-22, 25-14, 16-25, 15-11.

South Sumter 3, Mount Dora Christian 0

Buzz: South Sumter (4-7) trumped Mount Dora Christian (6-7) by the scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

First Academy 147, Lake Mary Prep 150

Buzz: Palmer Haynes led the Royals by shooting 35 at the Timacuan Club. Mingbo Jiang added 36 in the win. Rafa Tanjung led Lake Mary Prep with 36, while Qi (Steven) Liu added 37 in the loss.

Circle Christian 147, Boone 164

Buzz: Joshua Castellanos led Circle Christian, shooting 33 at Shingle Creek Golf Club. Dallas Torres had 37, while Kylan Johnson added 38. Nicholas Pisarski shot 36 for Boone.

Lake Highland Prep 151, Bishop Moore 172

Buzz: Jack Minutoli and Christian Koehn led Lake Highland Prep with 37s at the Country Club of Orlando. Jacob Immelman added 38 in the win. Packy Mokris led the Hornets with 38.

Oviedo 153, Orange City University 225

Buzz: Tyler Adamcyzk led Oviedo with 35 at Twin Rivers Golf Club. Tre Dahm and Caleb Anderson shot 39s in the win. Kadeb Harvill led the Titans with 48.

South Lake 174, South Sumter 199

Buzz: Braden Hawkins led South Lake with 37 at Green Valley Country Club. Piersen Taylor led South Sumter with 42.

The Geneva School 164, Orangewood Christian 169

Buzz: Andrew Milajecki led Geneva with 40 at Wekiva Golf Club. Noah Manly had 38 for Orangewood Christian.

Foundation Academy 156, Horizon 165

Buzz: Tyler Wall led the Lions with 38, while Shane tress and Gavin Badua shot 39s.

Girls Golf

Lake Mary, Windermere Prep and Lake Highland Prep, at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes (No score reported).

Lake Mary played without Ryleigh Knaub and Lauren Finley.

Circle Christian 139, Lake Nona 162

Buzz: Alyvia Boddie and Isabella Dovhey led the Centurions with 34s. Angelina Pacheco added 36 in the win. Isabella Melendez shot 32 for Lake Nona.

Lake Mary Prep 152, Bishop Moore 165

Buzz: Tatiana Ang led the Griffins with 36 at the Timacuan Club. Nancy Dai had 38, while eighth grader Lillana Ford added 39. Amelia Miller led Bishop Moore with 37.

St. Cloud 171, Olympia 187

Buzz: Karolyna Adams led St. Cloud with 40 at West Orange Country Club. Emma Rynn Olympia with 39.

Boys Bowling

Buzz: Sam Rinaldi led Trinity Prep (5-2) with a 224 game. Wren Harasym added a 215 game score, while Nick Kogon rolled a 213 game.

West Orange 2,651, Horizon 2,599

Buzz: High Games for West Orange (6-0) were Rhys Fisher 197, Daniel Burton 199 and Ian Lugo 187. Alex Smith had a 235 high game for the Hawks.

Girls Bowling

Trinity Prep 2,219, Lake Highland Prep 1,839 

Buzz: Amanda Lang and Madison Gaines rolled 180 for the Saints (7-0). Ellie Greenol led the Highandlers with a 151 game.
