There once were some fans from up North
Who booed when the anthem came forth
Trump’s tariffs caused strife
In their sports-loving life
They let their displeasure come forth.

The president insists “it’s gonna go well.”
But the people can only time will tell.
A risky new policy,
Could end in catastrophe,
Let’s hope it doesn’t turn into a hell.

There once was a Dem from New York
Who said Adams is just a mere fork
Too loyal to Trump
Justice won’t just jump
His charges dropped, leader in deadlock

There once was an audit that sought
For transparency, so it was thought
Led by Democrats,
And unions that chat,
For accountability, they fought.

There once was an “LGB” era,
But now it’s a “cis-wash” I fear,
On the monument’s page,
Old biases engage,
In the past, they still appear.

There once were workers, quite wary,
Under Trump they were treated quite unfairly,
Forced out without hesitation,
No job, no explanation,
1,300 left feeling quite scary.

There once was a lawsuit that claimed
The policy had schools quite ashamed
Resources were diverted
Attendance rates flirted
And education nearly became maimed

There once was a man named Lester,
Who pleaded guilty, feeling the pressure.
For second-degree assault,
He made a plea result,
In a deal that may bring him some pleasure.

There once was a Mayor named Adams,
Whose corruption charges caused some madams,
But the Justice Department said,
To drop them instead,
In Manhattan, where peace now embarks.

There once was a VP so bold
Claimed democracy’s fate could be told
With just a few bucks
Ads could cause such mucks
A strong system, it seems, did not hold
