There once was a president’s voice,
Who pressured the Department by choice,
The indictment did follow,
A campaign so hollow,
Justice now must take its course.

There once was a man named Comey
Who warned us to not go astray
“Fear is the tool of a tyrant,”
He said, with a voice defiant
Stay engaged, do not be led astray.

There once was a group known as the ACLU,
Who fought against prison conditions that were not so new.
They raised concerns about transfers and more,
Trying to even the score.
Hoping for justice to ensue.

There once was a president so keen,
Whose vanity project was seen,
On social media it was slammed,
Critics thought it was all a sham,
His plan was not as it had been.

There once was a woman named McCain,
Who attacked a young girl named Affleck,
Said having famous parents is tough,
Her remarks were quite rough,
But her argument was out of whack.

In Seattle, a trial begins to show
Case filed two years ago, we now know
Justice sought in the court
For the crimes of that sort
Will the truth in the end finally show?

There once was a president’s display,

Hypocrisy called out,
In a limerick shout,
For the truth must come to light today.
