Who cut back on a crucial part

Conservatives’ enmity,
Leaving many with a heavy heart.

Said Trump needed time to impose,
To reverse our nation’s decay,
And restore America’s way,
In his hands our country he holds.

A Coast Guard cutter set sail
To break up the ice without fail
By Thursday afternoon
They cleared a big lagoon
And saved the stranded ship with no travail.

There once was a man named Rhodes,
Pardoned by Trump, so the story goes,
Despite being convicted by a jury,
For plotting a conspiracy so eerie,
To stop the power transfer that froze.

There once was a year named 2025
Natural disasters did arrive
Timing and losses unclear
But the outlook, we fear
Off to a rough start, we survive

There once was a show that made fun,
Of responses that were way overdone,

Mocked reactions so large,

Who sued over the Palisades Fire spree

They knocked on the court’s door
Seeking justice for all to see

There once was a president bold,
Whose responsibility he could not hold,
The newspaper did say,
Conservative in their way,
A warning that did not grow old.
