トルコ南部を襲った大地震では、隣国シリアを合わせ死者は1万2000人を超えました。シリア北西部の反体制派が支配する地域では政府の支援が行われておらず、人道危機の懸念が強まっています。

トルコの大地震は、発生からまもなく70時間をむかえ、生存確率が大幅に下がると言われている72時間の壁が迫っています。

トルコとシリアの死者はあわせて1万2000人を超えていますが、甚大な被害を受けたシリア北西部の反体制派の支配地域はトルコを経由する支援のための唯一の検問所が被害をうけたため、国連によると支援の流入が停止されているということです。

こうした事態を受け、トルコは8日、シリアとの国境に新たに2か所、検問所を設ける方針を明らかにしました。人道的危機の懸念が強まる中、迅速な支援が求められています。

　震源近くのトルコ・カフラマンマラシュ。がれきの山と化した街では、市民がぼうぜんと立ち尽くしていました。

　トルコ政府は、震源に近い10県を対象に、3カ月間の非常事態を宣言しています。救出活動の人員を広く集めるなど、政府の権限を拡大させるのが目的です。

　助けだされたのは、生後2カ月の赤ちゃんです。また、別の場所でも…。しかし、がれきの下には、今なお多くの人が閉じ込められているとみられます。

　これまでに確認された倒壊した建物の数は6400。CNNによりますと、今回の地震による死者数は、トルコと隣国のシリアを合わせて1万1000人を超えました。

　被災地では、あと4時間ほどで、生存率が著しく低下するとされる「発生後72時間」を迎えます。

　氷点下にもなる厳しい寒さのため救助活動は難航していて、死者数は今後さらに増える恐れがあります。

이처럼 일본이 후쿠시마 원전 오염수 방류 강행 방침을 굽히지 않으면서 우리 수산업계의 걱정도 커지고 있습니다. 정부가 바닷물과 수산물의 방사능 검사를 강화하겠다고 밝혔지만 불안감을 해소하기에는 역부족입니다. 이이서 이이슬 기잡니다.

[리포트]

국내에서 가장 많은 수산물을 위판하는 부산공동어시장은 비상이 걸렸습니다.

후쿠시마 원전 오염수 방류를 강행하겠다는 일본 정부의 방침 때문입니다.

당장에는 어선에서 갓 잡아 온 어획물에 대해 방사능 검사를 현장에서 바로 실시하고 결과를 공개하자고 요구합니다.

해양수산부가 바닷물의 방사능 조사 지점을 늘리고 수산물 검사를 2배로 확대하겠다고 밝혔지만 소비자 불안을 없앨 수 없다는 겁니다.

[임정훈/대형기선저인망 조합장 : “정밀 (방사능 검사) 기계를 지금 정부에서 예산을 잡아 내려준다 합니다, 말로는. 그런데 실질적으로 지금 단 한 대도 내려온 적이 없고요.”]

오염수를 방류할 경우 우리 해역은 안전한지, 안전하지 않다면 어떤 대비책을 세울지, 정부가 아무런 설명이 없는 데 대해 답답해합니다.

또, 수산업 피해가 현실화할 경우를 대비해 ‘어가 손실 보상금’ 등 대책을 강구해야 한다고 목소리를 높입니다.

[양정복/부산시수협 조합장 직무대행 : “그냥 눈 감고 아웅 하는 식으로 너희 그렇게 알고 있으라고 국민한테 선전포고처럼 들린단 말입니다. 국민을 안심시킬 수 있는 오염수 방류에 따른 어떤 대안을 국민한테 소상히 알리라 이겁니다.”]

오염수 방류에 대한 안전 대책을 마련해 달라는 시민들의 요구는 높아지고 있지만, 정부 정책은 현장의 목소리를 따라가지 못하고 있습니다.
