Russia releases video said to show ‘aftermath of Ukrainian shelling in Melitopol’
The Russian Defence Ministry has released video it says shows debris from a missile shot down by the Russian air-defence in the Ukrainian city of Melitopol.
The footage also showed a local gas pipelines and a house damaged by shelling. The woman who lived in the house said she did not know from where the shell had come because she was asleep when it happened.
The Russian Defence ministry said in a statement that ‘Ukrainian nationalists’ aimed at residential areas of Melitopol using cluster warheads, and that Russian forces have managed to protect the civilians.
The Sun could not independently verify the footage released by the Russian Defence Ministry.
