In the final days of South Korea’s tumultuous presidential election campaign, the leader of the ruling Democratic Party was attacked with a hammer at a political rally in Seoul. He was rushed to hospital and survived, but it marked the bloody climax of a contest that has been mired in mudslinging, scandal and personal attacks intended to appeal to the country’s divided and increasingly polarised electorate. Some analysts called it the “Squid Game election”, after the dystopian Netflix drama, warning that the loser was likely to face investigation and possible arrest.
The winner, by a margin of less than a single percentage point, was the conservative candidate Yoon Suk-yeol. A former top prosecutor with no political or foreign policy experience, he has promised to abolish South Korea’s ministry for gender equality, investigate the outgoing progressive leader, Moon Jae-in, and take a much more combative stance against China and North Korea. Yoon has publicly mulled the possibility of pre-emptive military strikes against Pyongyang and criticised Moon for focusing on negotiations with Kim Jong-un, urging more joint military drills and a closer relationship with the United States.
“Until now, South Korea has followed a policy of strategic ambiguity when it comes to the US and China – balancing between cooperation with the US for security, and with China in terms of the economy,” said Gi-wook Shin, director of the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center at Stanford University. “But I don’t think that paradigm is going to work anymore. There will be more of a shift towards siding with the US in containing China, which is supported by growing anti-China sentiment among the public.” At the same time, Shin warned, South Korea could not afford to alienate China, which is the country’s biggest trading partner, “so this will be a major foreign policy challenge”.
Beijing is unlikely to welcome Yoon’s victory. He has called for additional deployments of the US’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) system in South Korea, which China considers a threat to its own security, and he has indicated an interest in joining the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) grouping of the US, Australia, Japan and India, which Beijing views as an anti-China alliance. “Certainly, I think that will be on the table,” Shin told me of the Quad.
But significant though these foreign policy shifts would be for the region’s geopolitics, the most immediate impact of Yoon’s presidency may be felt in South Korea’s domestic politics and the country’s intensifying gender conflict. Despite having the largest gender pay gap of any country in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development – with women earning almost a third less than their male counterparts – the new president cultivated support from South Korea’s burgeoning “men’s rights” and “anti-feminist” movement during the campaign.
“South Korea had one of the first #MeToo movements in Asia, and there has been increased attention on the issue of femicide and violence against women in recent years,” Darcie Draudt, a postdoctoral fellow at George Washington University’s Institute for Korean Studies, told me. “We have also seen what is known as the ‘molka’ phenomenon, where men take photos using secret cameras of women in hotel rooms and public restrooms in various states of undress and post them online without their consent, so these issues are really at the forefront of many women’s minds these days. But instead, Yoon mobilised the ‘men’s rights’ movement and played to their concerns.”
With housing costs soaring – apartment prices in Seoul have almost doubled in the past five years – and youth unemployment reaching 9 per cent in 2021, Draudt said the anti-feminist movement was fuelled by economic grievances and complaints that efforts to improve gender equality were unfairly disadvantaging men. “It all stems from a feeling of being left behind economically,” she explained. “The job market is really hot and competitive, and men have to complete 18 months of military service, which women don’t do, so they complain that they enter the workforce later than their female peers. But it’s a very short-sighted view, because in the long term they are probably going to get ahead.”
Yoon’s pledge during the campaign to abolish the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family delivered him a sizeable boost among young male voters, although the move is unlikely to have the effect he has promised. Less than 3 per cent of the ministry’s budget was allocated to promoting women’s equality, with the majority of resources focused on support for families and children. Still, it sends a chilling message to women in South Korea about where the new president’s priorities lie.
When he takes office in May, the new leader will also have to grapple with a National Assembly that is controlled by the rival Democratic Party. “This will be a massive constraint for Yoon,” said Ramon Pacheco Pardo, a professor at King’s College London and author of Shrimp to Whale: South Korea from the Forgotten War to K-Pop. “For the next two years, at the very least, the liberals have a supermajority, and Yoon, who is a complete outsider with no experience of National Assembly politics at all, will have to find a way to work together with them.”
Gi-wook Shin told me he was deeply concerned about the country’s political trajectory and the deep divisions now on display. “Looking at the campaign, it was all negative. There was no real policy debate,” he said. “It came down to whether you were on one side or the other, whether you wanted regime change or not. It was really divisive, and I don’t think that bodes well for the future of South Korean democracy.”
In his victory speech on 9 March, Yoon promised to join hands with his rivals and “unite into one for the people and the country”. If he is serious, then he will need to start with the divisions he has helped to sow.

Eduardo “Sugar” Nunez achieved his 23rd victory, and also his 23rd knockout, by blasting out Adrián “Gallero” Pacheco in the tenth round, in a fight with a lot…
The middaily chart seems to be slowly improving with an ascending sequence of candlesticks. However, the breakout has not come yet.
Firstly, price action wise, BTCUSD has never escaped the coil pattern ranging from the 33000 USD support and the 46000 USD resistance. Instead, there has been a contraction of the boundaries of the triangle towards an invisible apex. Factually, bitcoin has made local higher highs and higher lows, classifying that as a short-term upwards trend. In order to see more explosive breakout, bitcoin would need a clean break above 46000 USD with a weekly close through, in my opinion.
The BPRO seems to be confirming the thesis. The Momentum Bands show off the most probable range of trading for BTCUSD to occur inside the 37.8-44.2k USD zone. Optionally, when taken to more reliable extremes, the range becomes 36800-45300 USD. For a powerful and reliable breakout in either direction, BTCUSD needs to close a day outside this region. If there’s no follow-through to the upside, above $45300, bitcoin is not considered for the breakout validation.
With most recent CTF Trailer flip, BTCUSD has marked the chart with a “Bull” note, which implies that the bulls have re-gained the control over the market – potentially, targeting 50000 USD.
MTF 4H:
The MTF chart implies the short-term upwards orientation with local retracement chances.
The Wave Pivots analysis suggests that BTCUSD remains on the bullish side of the near-term trend.
Locally, there seem to be two main levels to pay attention to the most. The resistance at $42900, and the support at $41400 are both the levels that trap bitcoin inside a narrow range. Until there is a breakout through either of these, the volatility of BTCUSD is not expected to be intense, but rather focused on consolidation leading to a more powerful break.
If the $42900 resistance notes a strong 4h candle close above, the next expected target remains at $45000. Otherwise, a break below $41400 with an ugly daily breach to the downside implies chances for further downwards continuation into the 38000 USD or 35000 USD supports.
The BWAP block backed by both price and volume seems to be marking a crucial arbitrary region for bitcoin to overcome – 42000-42300 USD. If bitcoin holds the base today above it, the chances are another retest of the 45-46k USD zone area are coming sooner than later.
LTF 1H:
The hourly chart of bitcoin shows a set of interesting patterns.
Firstly, there seems to be a pennant pattern, or – more likely – a variant of a falling wedge. It’s a little bit vague here, as more often than not the pennants occur after sharp up-thrusts as a quick consolidation pattern – a form of a re-load moment for the market. For the wedges, these are more often patterns with both boundaries – trend lines, contracting in the same direction – here: descending. Occasionally, pennants also point in a descending direction, yet it’s lacking a strong pump (the poll) prior to the pattern, as well as it needs to account for a bigger context – larger range-bound movement with dominant sideways and low-momentum move. Regardless of the label, a potential measured breakout to the upside may unfold into the $43500. An instance of the pattern invalidation and a failed breakout may lead to BTCUSD returning to the 40-41k USD region.
The BPRO CTF Trailer has been marked as “Bull” with the recent move up. Hence, it makes more sense to anticipate an upwards continuation as the bulls are in control.
Furthermore, the resistance defined by the BPRO Level Lines is given at $42557
BPRO Level Lines show supports at:
41862 41338 40170 39318 38369
These levels could be anticipated to serve as level-to-level references. In other words, when one level is breached, the next one in the direction of the movement can be expected to act as the next “magnet”
FEAR/GREED INDEX
As the graph suggests, the sentiment remains in the fear territory. Having marked 31 points on the scale, it still shows that bitcoin has not escaped the disbelief environment and may indicate that a stronger upwards trend has yet to be developed, in order for the traders to believe it.
Historically, buying into extreme fear or fear has usually brought better returns when compared to selling into fear or shorting.
The way I see it, bitcoin still remains at the cheap levels, yet it’s not managed to build a move full of momentum and consequence. It’s a fearful consolidation.
Unless the Russia-Ukraine war escalates into a proper nuclear war, I’d expect bitcoin to eventually record na upwards breakout with more explosive move above 46000 USD resistance.
Marine Technicians Margot Buchbinder and Luis Hernandez unlock a chain-link gate at Point Molate, a natural headland on San Francisco Bay, and drive to the water’s edge along a degraded road, part of what was once a World War II Navy fuel depot. From here, they climb down concrete blocks and boulders in the fading light of dusk.
Wearing full wetsuits and booties, they shuffle through the mud and shallow water of low tide; the shuffling helps warn bat rays to get out of their way. Using a marine GPS finder, they quickly locate and retrieve a couple of remote sensors about the size of nine-volt batteries that measure the water’s temperature and salinity around local eelgrass beds. Slogging back toward shore, they are backlit by the lights of an oil tanker docked at the local Chevron refinery’s “Long Wharf.”
Jesse Altstatt
The author in a kelp forest.
The pair’s work is part of research being conducted by San Francisco State University’s Katharyn Boyer on the ecology and restoration of coastal habitats, including San Francisco Bay’s approximately 3,000 acres of eelgrass. Eelgrass, a species of seagrass, along with kelp, coastal salt marshes, mangroves, and other marine plants and animals (including whales) have long been acknowledged as essential for ocean health. They are now also being recognized as “Blue Carbon” sinks—sequesterers of excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere generated from the burning of fossil fuels and other sources.
“I suspect, but don’t know yet, that natural eelgrass beds will have more carbon sequestration in the sediment than restored beds but restoration will also put you somewhere along that trajectory,” says Boyer, whose team uses the historic eelgrass at Point Molate as a seedling bed for restoration elsewhere in the bay. “It’s all part of the solution,” she offers, “but we’ve got to deal with emissions or we don’t solve the problem.”
In promoting carbon dioxide removal—both “nature-based” and geo-engineered, as described in a recent National Academies of Sciences report—the United States, United Nations, and others are admitting failure.
Despite commitments by the world’s leaders, the goal set forth in the 2015 Paris Agreement and the 2021 Glasgow Climate Pact, to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels (marking the difference between a dangerous climate shift and a catastrophic one), now appears unattainable unless carbon dioxide is also taken out of the atmosphere.
And so, in addition to efforts to reverse deforestation and shift global agriculture from being a carbon emitter to a carbon sink, an increased focus is being given to the 71 percent of the planet that is wet and salty.
The idea is to use ocean and coastal resources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while also drawing down atmospheric carbon dioxide to safer levels. This comes down to three solutions: expanding offshore wind and other renewable ocean energy systems, greening global ports and shipping, and expanding Blue Carbon.
The European Union expects to generate at least sixty gigawatts of offshore wind by 2030. The United States lags far behind.
The most advanced of these strategies is “putting steel in the water,” with the build-out of offshore wind projects. The European Union expects to generate at least sixty gigawatts of offshore wind by 2030. With the United States lagging far behind, the Biden Administration supports an ambitious plan to develop thirty gigawatts in U.S. waters by 2030 (enough to power more than ten million homes).
In Massachusetts, Democratic state Senator Marc Pacheco, a longtime climate leader, supports the Mayflower Wind and Commonwealth Wind projects, which will generate 1.6 gigawatts of power. He argues that these will not only help address climate change but also save state taxpayers lots of money, since solar and wind are now cheaper than oil and gas. A transmission cable for the project is even being built on the abandoned site of the state’s last coal-fired power plant.
Other clean ocean energy sources not yet ready for commercial primetime include wave and tidal power and ocean thermal energy conversion, which uses the temperature differential between deep and surface water to generate power, as well as algae-based clean fuels.
Global shipping and port operations presently account for about 3 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions.
Plans for decarbonizing major ports began with environmental justice demands when low-income “fence line” communities of color gathered environmental activists and advocacy groups to sue the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, calling on them to reduce local air pollution from ships and trucks. Nominated to run the port of Los Angeles in 2005, marine biologist Geraldine Knatz showed that port air pollution and emissions could be economically reduced by more than 70 percent in six years. This led to a global initiative among fifty major ports to decarbonize.
Stephanie Kiriakopolos
Industry influence over the United Nations’ International Maritime Organization via member countries has delayed a similar transition in the global commercial shipping fleet that includes more than 90,000 large vessels. Nonetheless, some industry players—including Søren Skou, chief executive officer of Maersk, one of the largest container ship companies—want to accelerate change with a carbon tax on freight and an eventual ban on fossil fuel–powered ships. Shipbuilders in South Korea and Europe have begun building “dual fuel” ships that can burn fossil fuel now but switch over to hydrogen, wood alcohol, green ammonia, or some other nongreenhouse gas emitter by the 2040s.
Activists such as Madeline Rose of the environmental group Pacific Environment want to expedite the process with mandatory rules to decarbonize shipping, starting in California, where the green ports movement began.
In Point Molate, the headland owned by the city of Richmond, the bay’s most pristine and studied eelgrass beds are being threatened by runoff from a proposed private luxury housing development. The development is opposed by the majority of people in Richmond, a predominantly low-income community of color that (with this writer’s involvement) is campaigning to protect the headland as a public park.
To the north of Point Molate and San Francisco Bay, more than 95 percent of the kelp forest has been lost since 2014 due to a multi-year marine heatwave and the die-off of sea stars, a key predator of urchins. This has caused an explosion of purple sea urchins that gobble up the surviving kelp. Both events are linked to climate change.
Global kelp forests are declining by 2 percent per year. Mangroves, which can sequester four times as much carbon as rainforests, declined by a third between 1980 and 2000, drained for development and threatened by rising seas.
Another source of Blue Carbon is large whales, which are making a comeback after centuries of slaughter. They have been found to sequester huge amounts of carbon before they die and sink to the bottom of the ocean. Also, their prodigious fecal plumes add nutrients to the water, generating algal blooms that then sequester even more carbon through photosynthesis before also sinking to the bottom, where the carbon may be locked away for thousands of years.
Besides protecting kelp forests and eelgrass meadows and expanding whale populations, some scientists have called for geo-engineering proposals, such as dumping shiploads of iron pellets into the ocean in the hope of generating algal blooms.
David Helvarg
But Representative Jared Huffman, Democrat of California and chair of the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Water, Oceans, and Wildlife, says he’s “very skeptical of geo-engineering solutions in the ocean” due to the possibility of “unintended consequences.” Instead, he’s introduced the Blue Carbon Protection Act, which would commit hundreds of millions of dollars a year to identify, map, and protect “blue carbon areas of significance.”
“It’s an obvious first step,” Huffman tells The Progressive. “Not all we need to do but a beginning.”
Huffman laments the loss of the kelp forests in his district, which includes five Northern California coastal counties, and the resulting economic loss for fishing- and tourist-dependent communities.
“We have to regard this as a wake-up call that conditions like this can hit us suddenly and take away entire ecosystems,” he warns. Last year, he introduced the Keeping Ecosystems Living and Productive (KELP) Act to provide federal research and recovery grants through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. And he hopes Congress could still pass parts of President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act, which would commit $6 billion a year to coastal restoration plus $3 billion for the greening of ports. “We are one U.S. Senator away from putting it on the President’s desk,” Huffman says.
Meanwhile, a number of states—including Oregon, California, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, and North Carolina—are developing their own Blue Carbon inventories to identify and protect coastal resources. Yet the promise of ocean-based climate solutions is only as good as the survival rate of the ecosystems on which they depend. And with warming, acidifying seas holding less dissolved oxygen and generating more marine heatwaves, dead zones, storms, and coastal flooding, it remains uncertain if restoration will outpace decimation.
Can the ocean, the crucible of life, help save the planet? The only thing certain is that it should never have come to this.

About This Recipe
Korma is an Indian curry where chunks of veggies or meat are cooked in a freshly made kurma paste with coconut or coconut milk and other select ingredients like cashews, poppy seeds.
This Indian veg korma curry goes very well with rice, parotta, naan, roti. Vegan & gluten fee! Classic vegetarian & vegan variation for chicken kurma. Korma is called kurma in south Indian states.
Vegetable kurma is my all time favorite south Indian food. This is a popular, delicious and most loved curry known as veg kurma in south India.
The ideal combination of this kurma curry is parotta but we love this with steamed basmati rice and lachha parartha too.
A well made good korma is thick, creamy, is perfectly balanced with flavor flavor from various spices and contains chunks of veggies or meat.
A good kurma begins with best homemade kurma sauce or paste. Now there are so many variations how this sauce is made.
Few whole spices are added, few are left out based on region, personal preference and that varies the taste of the finished dish.
Here I am sharing the tastiest vegetable korma recipe that I have been making since a decade. This is the recipe that my mom makes, which I have altered a bit to make it more creamy and rich.
This is one curry which is light yet rich, perfectly suited for special occasions and a wonderful comfort food as well. A bowl of piping hot veg kurma with rice is my idea of comfort dinner for a chilly night with piping hot steamed rice or naan bread.
Read on get the recipe along with my tips, tricks and secret touch to make creamiest tastiest veg kurma. I have also mentioned how to use curry powder instead of fresh spice paste. This Vegetable Korma Is
Hearty, creamy & tastiest
popular & favorite Indian food
vegan and gluten free
light yet rich & delectable.
Ready in under 45 minutes of total time
Mixed veg curries are our favorite at home and I often make vegetable stir fry, mix veg recipe, veg sagu, vegan stew , navratan korma with mixed vegetables. This vegetable kurma is another favorite, the total time spent in so worth.
Before going into the recipe, here are few things you need to know about south Indian veg kurma in case you have not tasted it or known about it
The base of this kurma sauce is coconut. Freshly grated coconut but sometimes I also use thick coconut milk, so much creamy and rich korma! If you are using coconut milk make sure to use unsweetened coconut milk.
This recipe is not made with cream or butter. All the richness and creaminess comes from coconut, poppy seeds. I add some almonds but that is totally optional. You can also check out this delicious cauliflower kurma recipe.
Fresh coconut is the base of this kurma paste, having said that you can totally make this recipe without coconut too. Lookout for my instructions in the notes section.
Now let’s get into the recipe right away. First off you need to make the kurma sauce.
What Is Korma Sauce Made Of?
As said above there are various ways to make korma sauce. While some recipes call for onions, cashews I prefer to make mine with the below mentioned ingredients.
Trust me this sauce is more than delicious, this is authentic and most flavorful.
Typically these ingredients go in the making of kurma paste.
Roasted Bengal gram or chutney dal
Pottukadalai in English is known as roasted Bengal gram. It is a very widely used ingredient in south Indian cooking especially for making chutneys or for thickening gravies.
Here also we are using it to thicken the korma paste and lend some volume & flavor.
This ingredient is very specific to Indian cooking, so if you are able to get it in the United States or other countries you can just leave it out and increase the quantity of almonds and grated coconut. You can also use cashews instead.
You can also use roasted chana dal instead of chutney dal.
Generally almonds are not used in this recipe. However I like to use some as they lend wonderful flavor and lends richer taste without making the korma very heavy. If you prefer you can use cashews instead of almonds.
Green chilies
For heat, increase or decrease as required. The quantity given in the recipe if for moderately spiced veg kurma.
Cumin seeds
for flavor, you can also add some fennel seeds and bolder flavor.
Tomato–
a small tomato for tangy taste and flavor. This is not tomato based curry. So do not add more. If you want to make white korma sauce you can just leave out tomato and some yogurt while making the curry. That will not be vegan though.
freshly grated coconut or coconut milk–
Freshly grated coconut is the base of this curry. Instead of fresh coconut paste you can use thick coconut milk for creamier sauce.
Ginger garlic paste
for flavor, add as per preference. You can also use freshly minced ginger and garlic.
Garam Masala
I do not like to use powder garam masala or curry powder in veg kurma recipe as it alters the flavor a bit. You can however add 1 teaspoon of either along with salt.
Which Vegetables Go Well In This Curry?
Veggies that we generally use for veg pilaf or kadai vegetables go well in this vegetable korma too. I usually add
You can also try baby corn, broccoli in this Indian vegetables recipe.
Before adding to the curry base, you will have to prep the veggies a bit for this restaurant style veg kurma recipe.
First off chop the veggies into big chunks for a hearty curry. You do not want veggies to loose shape or disintegrate in the curry.
Next before adding to the korma sauce the veggies should be partly cooked. You can either steam the veggies or pressure cook or saute in a bit of oil like I did.
I prefer to saute the veggies in oil and cook with a splash of water.
Preparation For Korma
Rinse, peel and cut potatoes & carrots into big cubes. Chop green beans lengthwise.
Shell green peas.
Separate cauliflower into florets.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add the chopped veggies.
Saute well for 5-6 minutes over medium flame.
Add 1/4 cup water and cover the pan.
Cook until water is absorbed. Remove the cooked vegetables to a pan and retain the oil.
How To Make Korma Sauce
Add 15 almonds, 3 slit green chilies, peeled ginger, garlic 2 tablespoons roasted gram dal, 2 teaspoons cumin seeds in a small blender jar.
To that add 1/2 cup grated coconut and 1 small tomato, chopped. Instead of chopped tomato you can also add 1/4 cup tomato puree or 2 tablespoons tomato paste.
Grind to a very smooth paste.
Your korma paste is ready. You will get around 1 cup paste and we will use the entire thing for this recipe.
How To Make Vegetable Kurma
Heat the same oil we used for sautéing vegetables.
Add whole spices and saute for minute.
Next add chopped onions and saute for 2 minutes.
Now add the prepared korma sauce and saute for a minute.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and mix well. Add 1 cup water.
Now lower the flame and cook the korma sauce thoroughly until oil separates from the paste. This is the base for veg kurma.
Once korma paste is well cooked, add sautéed vegetables.
Mix well and cook in medium flame for 3-4miutes.
If the curry is very thick, you can add 1 cup water or 1 cup light coconut milk at this stage and cook for 3-4 more minutes.
Add chopped cilantro leaves and mix well.
Serve veg kurma warm with rice or roti.
Make Veg Kurma In Instant Pot
To make vegetable kurma in instant pot prepare the spice paste and chop the vegetables as mentioned above.
Place the steel insert inside your instant pot and switch it on. Press saute mode. Once it displays hot add whole spices and saute for few seconds.
Next add the onions and saute, followed by spice paste. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt, mix well. Saute well until oil separates. Add 1/2 cup water.
Now add the mix vegetables and mix well. Cancel saute and close the instant pot. Press pressure cook or manual mode and set time for 4 minutes.
Once the IP beeps, release pressure gently and open the IP. Mix gently and add little water if required. Add chopped cilantro leaves and mix well. Serve veg kurma gravy hot with rice or roti.
You can follow the same steps for making vegetable kurma recipe in pressure cooker.
Expert Tips
This is an easy great recipe but it does involve some prep time along with cook time. The total time for this recipe is under 45 minutes.
However you can make this recipes easily if you make sure to follow the below tips.
Nuts in kurma sauce– Use some nuts or poppy seeds in the sauce for rich taste. Adding a bit if poppy seeds make the korma paste very rich and creamy. I know poppy seeds are not preferred by everyone and in that case add nuts like almonds, cashew nuts. You can also add melon seeds for creamy sauce.
Whole spices– This veg kurma gets its flavor only from whole spices, so do not miss them. If you one or two variet from the listed spices, it ok. If you do not have whole spices handy use 2 teaspoons garam masala powder while making the curry.
Saute the paste well in oil– To get the real flavor of this vegetable korma curry , saute the paste very well in oil until fat separates from the sides. For elevated flavor you can also add some ghee with oil, again it will not be vegan though.
Go easy on seasonings- This curry gets all its flavor from whole spices, green chilies and coconut. The only spice powders we add in this recipe are turmeric powder and a bit of red chilli powder. If you don’t have whole spices you can add garam masala powder.
If you want a spicier gravy you can add more green chilies in korma masala paste.
If you are adding garam masala powder, make sure it is of very good quality. Also add a small amount and add more only if needed, as some brands of garam masala powder is very strong.
A splash of coconut milk increases the taste– Along with adding grated coconut in the korma paste, you can also add 2 tablespoons coconut milk in this recipe. It increased the richness and creaminess. You can also add almond milk in this recipe. I have not used coconut milk here.
For a pronounced coconut flavor you can use coconut oil instead of regular oil. Next fresh coriander leaves add wonderful flavor to this kurma masala recipe.
Vegan and gluten free– This south Indian kurma recipe as such is vegan and gluten free. If you like you can add 1/4 cup yogurt after adding korma sauce and simmer for few minutes. Your delicious vegan kurma is ready to serve.
Storing Leftovers
This vegetable korma keeps well for 2 days in refrigerator. Store in airtight container and reheat gently while serving.
The korma paste freezes really well. You can store in small portioned containers and thaw as required.
To make vegetable korma, remove the paste from freezer and gently reheat in some oil, add cooked veggies and mix.

We’re back to Monday, folks. The day we’ve all been dreading since Friday night. It’s alright, though as Mondays are never really as bad as we make them out to be. Besides, now that it’s here, you get to take a look at all of the deals we were able to dig up from the depths of the internet. We might do that multiple times each week, but it’s at least early enough in the week that you might get something that catches your eye by the weekend. See? Monday has something going for it, after all.
The first deal you should consider gives you the means to ditch the chewed-up rubber on that daily driver. I know what you’re thinking. Those tires, though sketchy, still had enough bite to make it through the winter. While that may be true, they are only getting worse as time passes. Goodyear tires are on sale this week at Walmart. Now’s a better time than ever to replace them because you can get killer tires for just about anything at a bargain.

That’s why you end up repairing or replacing it every few months. Luckily, we’ve got at least one of the bases covered with the Casio Men’s G-Shock Quartz Watch with Resin Strap, Black that you can scoop up for $38.97 at Amazon. This one is recommended by our Editorial Director, Patrick George, who’s more than confident it’ll stand up to whatever you chuck at it — or it at.
