Let’s face it. Rose, Sophia, Dorothy, or a Blanche walked so that Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda could fly! It’s time to respect our elders and give credit where credit is due — and it’s happening in the form of a killer Golden Girls bachelorette party! Lots of colors, loads of fun, and plenty of toasts to say, “Thank You for Being a Friend,” this party came together with design + planning by Danielle at SBSN:
While planning this shoot, the idea was to bring together four brides to be whose weddings were either canceled or postponed. Celebrations of weddings were changed, and many were left without bridal showers or bachelorette parties. Having an intimate girls’ day with your closest friends with a fun theme and a reason to dress in vibrant 80’s Miami colors? Yes, please.
From florals to the cake, every detail was focused on an escape from planning a wedding during a pandemic. The vendors all came together to create a fun party for the girls! Ink and Rose Events stepped in to coordinate and Chelsea Smith Photo was there to capture every brilliant detail!

Oh, they are NOT holding back! In a world of neutrals, we love the idea of stepping out and making a splash with your girls! Why not dream up a fun dress code for your party? Sequins, color, pattern, texture — live it up!

Dinner with the Girls
Fun fact: the team didn’t use and rentals but instead sourced pieces from family! A few grandma-esque table cloths, vases, cups, and a few rattan chargers rounded it out. Grandma aesthetic is IN, don’t you know?
Although, we have to say we’ve never spotted something as truly modern as these florals by True Splendor Events and our grandmas’ houses!
