If we can clean our homes before Diwali, then why not our city? Which is why, Freudenberg Gala – home cleaning tool brand partnered with Mirchi for the #WhyJustCleanHome initiative. An inter-city clean-up drive where the city that cleared the most amount of garbage, was declared the winner. Mirchi RJs urged the people of Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru to send in pictures of the places in their city that required a clean-up. Gala Home Cleaning’s Shine On Squad reached those very places and cleared them up. But it didn’t end there! The waste collected was weighed on a larger-than-life weighing scale that helped determine the winning city. Which is why we asked people, #WhyJustCleanHome?
