2년 전 중학교 1학년이던 B 군과 친구들에게 오토바이를 타게 해주겠다며, 20대 청년 4명이 접근했습니다.

청년들은 B 군 등을 PC방에 데려가 온라인 도박을 권유하며 비용을 대 줬습니다.

하지만 친절은 곧 협박으로 돌변했습니다.

빌려 준 도박자금 3, 4만 원은 며칠 뒤 열 배나 불어나 있었습니다.

[B 군 아버지/음성변조 : “‘학생인데 돈이 어딨어, 내가 게임비 내줄게. 배고프지, 라면도 사 줄게.’ 환심을 사고 나중에는 돈을 빌리게끔 하는 거죠.”]

같은 학교 2, 3 학년 형들이 ‘행동책’이 돼 지시를 받고, 괴롭힘을 주도했습니다.

불법 도박 홍보에 쓸 SNS 계정을 구해오라고 하거나, 고금리 이자를 붙여 빌려준 수십만 원의 돈을 ‘채권’이라며, 또 다른 학생들에게 강매하는 등 다양한 협박이 줄기차게 이어졌습니다.

돈을 갚지 못한 학생에게는 부모 차량 옆에 흉기를 놔뒀다며, 이를 이용해 절도를 하라고 강요하기도 했습니다.

[C 군 아버지/음성변조 : “갚을 능력이 없으면 집에서 부모님 돈을 훔쳐라. 부모님 차량을 털어라. 안 그러면 어디 가서 도둑질을 해오든지 협박을 해요.”]

이들이 갈취한 SNS 계정은 불법 도박과 사채 알선 홍보용으로, 돈은 도박 자금으로 쓰이는 악순환이 이어졌습니다.

[B 군/음성변조 : “20대 형들이 돈이 필요하면 (SNS) 계정 같은 거 구해오라 하고, 시킨 형들이 아래로 계속 내려가면서 점점 계정 개수가 쌓여서 그걸 한 번에 팔아서 제일 마지막은 나이 높은 형이 돈을 가지는 거예요.”]

이상한 낌새를 눈치챈 부모들이 자녀들을 추궁해 경찰에 신고했고, 대구 경찰 광역수사대는 지난해 9월 이들 20대 4명을 미성년자에 대한 공갈 및 강요 등 혐의로 구속했습니다.

하지만 피해 학부모들은 청소년을 도박으로 끌어들이는 조직적인 세력이 이미 곳곳에 퍼져 있다고 말합니다.

[B 군 아버지/음성변조 : “(구속된 20대 남성들) 그 위에 또 있는데, 확인할 방법이 없어요. 심증은 가는데. 도박사이트를 운영하는 운영진들이라든지. 한번 걸리면 빠져나오기 힘들 거예요.”]

조직화 된 불법 도박이 학교로 파고들어 학교폭력은 물론 청소년 범죄로까지 이어지고 있습니다.

500g Hähnchenfilet
Fleisch mit einem Küchenhammer durch Frischhaltefolie schlagen
in dünne Streifen schneiden

1 Zwiebel
1 Esslöffel Mehl
2-3 Minuten köcheln lassen
~ 300 g Pilze
1 Karotte
3-5 Minuten köcheln lassen
2 Esslöffel Tomatenmark
Salz, Pfeffer, Paprika, Basilikum
250ml Wasser
3-5 Minuten köcheln lassen
1 Teelöffel Honig
Wasser zum Kochen bringen
Salz nach Geschmack
Spaghetti nach Anleitung kochen
2 Knoblauchzehen
3 Esslöffel saure Sahne
3-5 Minuten köcheln lassen

Kremlchef Wladimir Putin hat der Ukraine nach Berichten über Kämpfe in der südwestrussischen Grenzregion Brjansk Terror vorgeworfen. Es handle sich um «einen weiteren Terroranschlag und ein weiteres Verbrechen», sagte der russische Präsident am Donnerstag bei einer Videokonferenz. Der Inlandsgeheimdienst FSB hatte zuvor von schweren Gefechten mit «ukrainischen Nationalisten» in Brjansk gesprochen. Kiew hat die Verantwortung für die Vorfälle zurückgewiesen und spricht von gezielter russischer Desinformation. Russland führt seit über einem Jahr einen Angriffskrieg gegen das Nachbarland.

Russischen Angaben zufolge wurde in der Region Brjansk ein Autofahrer getötet und ein zehnjähriges Kind durch Beschuss ukrainischer Sabotagetrupps verletzt. «Sie sind ins Grenzgebiet eingedrungen, wo sie das Feuer auf Zivilisten eröffnet haben. Sie haben gesehen, dass es sich um ein Zivilfahrzeug handelte, dass dort Zivilisten und Kinder drin saßen», sagte Putin.

Zwischenzeitlich hatten Medien auch Berichte über eine angebliche Geiselnahme und den Beschuss eines Schulbusses verbreitet, die dann aber selbst von offiziellen Stellen in Russland widerrufen wurden.

Putin machte für den Beschuss die Führung in Kiew verantwortlich, die er einmal mehr als vermeintliche «Neonazis» darstellte. Diese versuchten mit Gewalt, Russland seine historische Identität und Sprache zu rauben, behauptete der 70-Jährige. «Aber ich wiederhole mich: Es wird ihnen nicht gelingen, und wir werden sie zerquetschen.»

In einem Bekennervideo übernahmen später russische Nationalisten die Verantwortung für die Angriffe. Während ein Teil der russischen Nationalisten den Angriffskrieg Putins unterstützt, kämpfen andere auf der Seite Kiews. Allerdings ist unklar, ob die Aktion in Brjansk mit dem ukrainischen Militär abgesprochen war.

Seit kurz nach Kriegsbeginn klagt Russland immer wieder auch über Beschuss auf eigenes Staatsgebiet. Opferzahlen und Schäden stehen dabei allerdings in keinem Verhältnis zu den Kriegsfolgen in der angegriffenen Ukraine.

A meeting in New Delhi of the G20 group of leading nations has ended in disagreement over the war in Ukraine. Despite their opposing stances, the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, met for the first time since war began.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Thursday asked China not to support Russia with weapons in its war against Ukraine. Scholz spoke about China in the context of the war in a speech to the German Parliament

“My message to Beijing is clear: use your influence in Moscow to push for the withdrawal of Russian troops,” Scholz said. “And do not supply weapons to the aggressor Russia.”
