Wilmer Valderrama and his fiancée Amanda Pacheco are parents, showing off their newborn baby girl Sunday on Instagram.

The “NCIS” star and “That ’70s Show” alum Valderrama, 41, posted a series of hospital room photos showing off the baby born on Feb. 15. One photo showed the baby girl, whose name was not given, in the arms of her shirtless father as her mother looked on with a smile.

“Straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter,” Valderrama wrote.

“Life is an ever evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light.. often angels are sent to show us the way and that we can be more,” he wrote, adding the hashtag #ItsJustUs3Now.

The 29-year-old model Pacheco wrote the same words with the same hashtag on her Instagram post. 

Valderrama showed the beaming child in another Instagram stories photo, calling her “mi angelita.”

On Feb. 14, the day before their baby was born, Valderrama posted a romantic Valentine’s Day photo saying, “Don’t worry about giving me Chocolates, you’re giving us a little miracle Chimichanga!”

Valderrama and Pacheco announced their New Year’s Day engagement on their respective Instagram accounts. “It’s just us now,” they each captioned a dreamy photo of Valderrama on one knee in front of Pacheco on a La Jolla beach in San Diego.

Chelsea stayed goal-difference ahead of Manchester United at the top of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.

Three-goal rush sets up Chelsea victory

Chelsea overcame Tottenham Hotspur 4-0, despite a good start from the visitors, to remain top of the table.

The Blues scored three times in a dozen first-half minutes but had been fortunate to not go behind, as Ann-Katrin Berger was earlier forced into diving saves by Lucy Graham and Ria Percival, the latter seeing her shot tipped onto the post.

However, Melanie Leupolz worked herself some space to find the corner of the net from outside the box, seconds later Fran Kirby set up Pernille Harder whose effort was glanced into her own net by Abbie McManus, before Harder’s cross was firmly headed home by Sam Kerr.

Beth England cam off the bench and immediately won a penalty which Leupolz tucked away, the hosts then coming closest to a fifth as Percival did well to head Harder’s drive off the line and Ji So-yun’s late strike was turned round the post by Aurora Mikalsen.

Man United keep pace with leaders

Manchester United took maximum points away to Everton to stay level on points with leaders Chelsea.

The Reds were in front inside 10 minutes despite a parry by Sandy MacIver from Leah Galton’s cross, Ella Toone in the right place to force the ball home.

The lead was doubled in the last five minutes of the half, Everton never really clearing the ball and Hayley Ladd slipping the bal through for Christen Press to score.

Early in the second half, Mary Earps turned away Jill Scott’s goal-bound strike from outside the box, which was the closest Everton came to halving the deficit.

Man City extend gap over Gunners

Manchester City moved four points ahead of fourth-placed Arsenal with a comfortable win over West Ham.

Caroline Weir got City’s opener in the ninth minute, arriving late in the box to net after the ball came her way.

Six minutes before the break it was 2-0, Chloe Kelly and Lucy Bronze combining to get the ball into the box, where Georgia Stanway finished.

By Mark Eisner: Former four-division world champion Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez (51-3, 41 KOs) took replacement opponent Julio Cesar Martinez (18-2, 14 KOs) to school in beating him by an embarrassingly one-sided 12 round unanimous decision on Saturday night in their headliner at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.

The scores were as follows: 118-110, 117-111, and 116-112. Boxing News 24 scored it 118-110. Martinez looked hurt in the 12th round but somehow made it through without going down. He appeared to be out on his feet several times.

Chocolatito had too many skills for the crude brawler Martinez, and it was never close from the start.

“We still don’t know when I’m going to retire. maybe a few more fights. That’s why I’m here because of the marvelous crowd,” said Chocolatito after the fight.

“I wanted to feel his power first and work with him little by little. My corner told me not to give him any rounds. I’m very surprised but that indicates he comes in really good condition.

“Everyone knows in my last fight with El Gallo Estrada, I won. The only one that defeated me was Sor Rungvisai.

“Whatever comes, they will decide, as long as they pay me well,” said Roman when asked what he wants to do next.

“That was an incredible performance from the legend. Chocola seems to be getting better and better,” said Eddie Hearn. “The Estrada trilogy was supposed to happen tonight.

“He looked too small, too inexperienced and not good enough,” said Hearn about Rey Martinez.

Preview – Chocolatito ready for Martinez

“I’m excited, I’m ready, and I’m glad that the weigh-in is over, and now I’m going to get rehydrated,” said Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez to Fighthype. “Everything I’ve learned in camp, I can display in the fight.

“The most important thing is the fight is still on. I’m ready for whatever comes my way,” Chocolatito said when asked about his reaction to Rey Martinez coming in overweight at the weigh-in.

“I had an excellent camp and am ready to fight,” Roman Gonzalez continued. “There’s no other way around it, the fights happening. Whether he made weight or not, the fight was going to happen. Whatever you get tomorrow, you’re going to get.

“I’m very happy. I had a tremendous camp, and that gives me the motivation to be this happy,” said Chocolatito on why he was smiling so much at the weigh-in. “Always keep working hard, moving forward for whatever that comes.”

Bam reacts to Rey Martinez missing weight

“Maybe he wasn’t that disciplined, or maybe he struggled at the weight, I don’t know,” said Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez to Fighthype when asked why Julio Cesar Martinez came in overweight at the weigh-in.

“I favor Chocolatito in this fight just because of his experience,” Bam Rodriguez continued. “Martinez can get a little wild, and Chocolatito, I believe, will capitalize on that.

“Yeah, of course, he’s younger than Chocolatito, and he’s up there already, but Chocolatito is a legend, and you never know what to expect from him. So it’s going to be a good fight,” said Rodriguez when asked if Rey Martinez will have the speed advantage over Roman.

“Chocolatito set the tone for the smaller weight classes in this era. Like I said, he set the tone and brought the attention back to the weight classes.

“Because of what he’s done,” said Bam Rodriguez when asked why Chocolatito is given so much respect in boxing. “He’s won multiple world titles. Not many fighters do that.

“For him to do that and to still be fighting to this day, You’ve got to respect that. Honestly, I started watching boxing in my era. I never really looked back, but he’s the guy right now,” Rodriguez said.

Gonzalez will break Rey Martinez down

“I believe he’s going to break him down in the later rounds,” said Bam Rodriguez. “Maybe Martinez will get a little too wild and get caught with something in the early rounds, but I believe Chocolatito will break him down after a while to the body.

“Chocolatito is a legend. He’s been in there with the best of the best. There’s nothing he hasn’t seen. It’s just another fight for him.

“Of course, fighters in this weight class, we don’t duck and dodge. We’re here to fight anybody whenever. I love to give exciting fights and give the fans what they want to see.

“A fight like this and my fight with [Carlos] Cuadras, that’s what people want to see. Every fight in the lower-weight division will deliver that.

“That’s a credit to my coach Robert [Garcia]. He told me to stick to my gameplan, stick to my jab, keep boxing him, and that’s what I did,” said Bam Rodriguez on his 12 round unanimous decision win over 33-year-old Cuadras last February.

“If it weren’t for Robert, I probably would have brawled with Cuadras a little bit more, and maybe that would have lost me the fight. Credit to Robert because he stuck me to the game plan.

“He’s the guy I’ve been watching since I started boxing,” said Bam about Chocolatito.

“There’s already talk about it. Eddie Hearn has talked about it, and many people have talked about it,” Bam Rodriguez said when asked how close he is to fighting the winner of the Chocolatito vs. Rey Martinez fight.

“I would love to fight the winner of this fight because that’s a fight that people want to see.

“My brother [Joshua Franco] is going to fight El Gallo (Juan Francisco Estrada], but there’s talk of me maybe fighting [Srisaket Sor] Rungvisai on the undercard [in San Antonio, Texas]. So, we’ll see what happens.

“I’m down to fight whoever and give exciting fights. A fight with Chocolatito, I believe that’s passing the torch. I think he would pass the torch to me and respect to him. If the fight happens, I would love that.

“There’s already talk of me and my brother fighting on the same card in San Antonio, and I believe something like that would be really dope.

“We came up in the amateurs together, and to see us going to the top together is amazing,” said Jesse Rodriguez about Shakur Stevenson.

Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez fights tonight against the young up and comer Julio Cesar Martinez in the headliner LIVE on DAZN at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. Fight action for the card starts at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Martinez (18-1, 14 KOs) missed weight on Friday at the weigh-in for his 12 round fight against legend Chocolatito (50-3, 41 KOs), but thankfully the contest is still taking place.

From lullabies to hymns for mourning, song offers the soundtrack to our lives. Just opened at Liverpool’s FACT is Let The Song Hold Us, an immersive exhibition that examines just this. Spanning generations, these songs are co-opted and adopted as they criss-cross the world and help us define who we are. I’m incredibly excited to see Korakrit Arundonchai’s new film, Songs for living (2021), which continues the Thai-born, New York-based artist’s ongoing body of work. Filmed after his grandfather’s passing, Songs for living meshes music and video to deal with grief, spirituality, and transformation. Also included are artists LarissaSansour and Søren Lind, Ebun Sodipo, Zinzi Minotti, Rae-Yen Song, and Tessa Norton.

Let The Song Hold Us runs from 24 March – 19 June 2022

TRAPLORD, IVAN MICHAEL BLACKSTOCK, 180 STUDIOS, LONDON

We’ve been waiting for this one, which is going to hit London’s 180 Strand like a hurricane. Presented in collaboration with Sadlers Wells, dancer, choreographer, and cultural innovator, Ivan Michael Blackstock, debuts TRAPLORD later this month. With themes of life, death, rebirth, and self-actualisation, TRAPLORD also deals with Black male stereotypes and “an attempt to escape from the mental state of being condemned before having lived”. A long-awaited performance that will shake its audience to its core. Grab a ticket now because they’re selling fast.

GHANA RISING, VARIOUS, PM/AM, LONDON

In its final few days, Ghana Rising is a brilliant group exhibition featuring five emerging artists from Accra, curated by Stephen Allotey. It takes its lead from the fast-growing legacy of Amoako Boafo, whose portraiture and residency based in the Ghanaian capital is impacting a new generation of artists. Featuring Annan Affotey, Aplerh-Doku Borlabi, Lord Ohene Okyerebour, Adjei Tawiah, and Crystal Yayra Anthony, Ghana Rising signals the country and its plethora of talent as ones to watch.

DECRIMINALISED FUTURES, VARIOUS, ICA LONDON

Ten projects from the UK, France, Germany, and the US make up this group exhibition of 13 artists creating work about contemporary sex worker experiences. It spotlights the sex worker rights movement and how it naturally connects with other issues such as racial and social justice, migrant rights, labour rights, and anti-austerity work, as well as queer and trans liberation. Some themes explored include mental health, gender, joy, pain, disability, and the idea of sacred space as artists use mediums such as moving images, embroidery, writing, gaming, and more.

WAYFINDER, LARRY ACHIAMPONG AND JW TURNER, TURNER CONTEMPORARY, MARGATE

If you needed a reason to escape to the coast, here’s one. Artist Larry Achiampong is given his flowers in his first major solo exhibition, hosted at Margate’s Turner Contemporary from 12 March. Its centrepiece is Wayfinder, described as the artist’s “most ambitious film to date”, exploring class, economic exclusion, belonging, displacement, cultural heritage, and the meaning of home through a young girl who sets off on a journey across England amid the pandemic. Alongside the film, Achiampong is the artist’s ongoing series Relic Traveller and Glyth. Achiampong has also curated a series of JMW Turner’s paintings and a gaming room featuring video games that have influenced his work, such as Zelda, Ori, and Blind Forest.

Wayfinder runs from 12 March – 19 June 2022

Guts Gallery, Maureen Paley, Nicoletti Contemporary, Seventeen, New Arts Project, French Riviera, The Residence Gallery, and Nicoletti Contemporary are all participating with their brilliant shows (click here for all the details). Each will open until late on Friday night and throughout Saturday and Sunday. From Whitechapel to Haggerston, Bethnal Green, and Hackney, it’s one way to get your 10k steps, and your culture fix, in one.

Joy Yamusangie and jazz. Other than the satisfaction of alliteration, this combination is bound for greatness. Debuting at NOW Gallery, in Feeling Good, Yamusangie imagines a jazz club inspired by Billy Tipton. To Yamusangie, jazz epitomises fluidity, joy, and freedom. It parallels the artist’s experiences and understanding of their trans identity and own music practice. Expect self-portraiture expressed through bold colours and the exploration of family, memory, and community. 

Feeling Good runs from 24 March – 5 June 2022

MUNDOS PARALELOS, VARIOUS, THE UK MEXICAN ARTS SOCIETY, LONDON

This show is only on for a short period, but it’s nonetheless powerful. Mundos Paralelos, by Latinx Collective UAL, celebrates the work of five London-based Latinx artists, using the gallery spaces as a “site of collisions between themes of auto-fiction, identity politics, and the placement of the individual within an ever-expanding global context”. Visitors will experience emotions like hope, detachment, and recognition from a young Latinx migrant perspective. Artists include Diana Siegel, Pedro Reséndez, Vanda Sofia Focanti, Jessica Panchi Pacheco, and Paola Murguía.

Mundos Paralelos runs from 10 – 18 March 2022

One of the NFT world’s leading publications, platforms, and art collective Felt Zine is hosting an exhibition-slash–3D-art-party in Berlin that will feature some of the most exciting emerging and established NFT and digital artists. These include Felt founder Dev Moore alongside Tabitha Swanson, Harriet Davey, Nina Doll, Gabriel Massan, and more. Expect incredible DJ sets and, importantly, all funds raised aid Ukrainian charities.

“Surrealism is not a style – it’s a state of mind”, reads the show notes for Tate Modern’s recently opened Surrealism Without Borders. The show shines a spotlight on the extensive global reach of the Surrealist movement, beyond key cities like Paris in the 1920s (to Buenos Aires, Lisbon, Cairo, and more), and how that legacy spans a solid 50 decades and beyond. Photographer Dan Wilton journeyed across a pre-Covid Europe to document the impacts of the coal industry on the environment and the communities living amongst it. Not only is this the first time this work has been shown in the UK, but all proceeds from the print sales will go to environmental legal charity Client Earth, who use the law to tackle the climate crisis.

THE ART OF STORYTELLING, SHAQUILLE-AARON KEITH, CAMPBELL’S FRAMING AND ART GALLERY, LONDON

Emerging artist Shaquille-Aaron Keith (you might recognise him from YouTube show PAQ) is in the final days of his debut solo show, The Art of Storytelling. The exhibition explores the IRL experiences and metaphors of the life of a young Black man living in London. Despite being told through Shaq’s eyes, the artist hopes the themes explored are universal and can connect to others globally through his paintings, poetry, and video works.
