Nextdoor is an app where you can recommend a plumber, gossip about neighbors, or even harass a widow in your area. Because it’s a social media site, every discussion ends up turning into a big, stupid argument, so we assembled some of Hollywood’s most beloved actors to recreate a real argument from the app in the first ever installment of Nextdoor Theatre starring Lisa Kudrow, Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Glover, David Duchovny, Michael Chiklis, Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, Sam Richardson, Jake Johnson, Eiza Gonzalez, Jason Segel, Anthony Carrigan, Brian Tyree Henry, Diane Kruger, Gillian Anderson, Giancarlo Esposito & Henry Winkler.

While Thor‘s sister Angela possesses all the “standard” powers of an Asgardian, she also has another bizarre set of abilities that come from her complex editorial history. Loki is certainly the most famous of Thor’s siblings, but he is far from the only one. The God of Thunder has a number of siblings and half-siblings. Among them is Angela, firstborn of Odin and Freya, raised by the Angels of the hidden realm of Heven. She first appeared in Marvel Comics in 2013, but actually debuted two decades earlier in the pages of Image Comics.
Angela’s true name is Aldrif Odinsdottir. As Odin’s firstborn, she was the rightful heir to the throne of Asgard but when she was an infant, Heven, one of the Ten Realms, waged war on Asgard. The Queen of Heven seemingly slew Aldrif, and an enraged Odin banished her realm from the World Tree. However, the baby survived and was raised by one of the Queen’s handmaidens. Years later, she was pulled out of Heven by a fracture in the space-time continuum, met Thor and the other Asgardians, and learned about her true heritage. Unable to live among the Asgardians but also rejected by the people of Heven, Angela wandered the Realms and had many adventures, including joining the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Angela has displayed a variety of skills and powers over the years. Her Asgardian physiology grants her superhuman strength, stamina, and near-invulnerability. Trained for most of her life by the Angels, who are renowned for being among the greatest warriors in the Ten Realms, Angela is a deadly fighter and a skilled hunter and tracker. She is an expert with any bladed weapon, and her skills with a sword are almost unmatched. On a few occasions (for example, in Guardians of the Galaxy 2015 #18, by Brian Michael Bendis, Valerio Schiti, and Richard Isanove), Angela has shown the ability to use her costume ribbons as prehensile limbs, using them to strangle, cut, and disarm her opponents, thanks to a psychic connection to her outfit. The true origin of this weird power, however, lies in Angela’s past as a character from Image’s Spawn comics.
Angela was originally created by Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane as a supporting character for the Spawn series, debuting in Spawn #9 (March 1993). Angela was a bounty hunter sent by Heaven to kill Spawn, as part of the ongoing conflict with the forces of Hell. Due to her success among readers, Angela became a recurring character and even got her own miniseries. However, she later became the subject of a legal battle between McFarlane and Gaiman over the rights to the character, which Gaiman claimed he co-owned. Despite McFarlane’s denial, Gaiman won and later sold the rights to the character to Marvel Comics when he briefly returned to the House of Ideas in 2013. She made her Marvel Comics debut in 2013’s Age of Ultron #10 by Brian Michael Bendis, Alex Maleev, Bryan Hitch, Butch Guice, Brandon Peterson, Carlos Pacheco, David Marquez and Joe Quesdada. Angela’s origins had to be rewritten, so she became the daughter of Odin and the previously-hidden realm of Heven was introduced to explain her unique appearance.
In the Spawn comics, Angela’s control over her costume mirrored one of Spawn’s prominent powers, and some Marvel writers decided that it would still make a good addition to the character, despite her now completely different origins. The in-universe explanation is that she was raised by the Angels of Heven, so Angela developed abilities that other Asgardians lack. Angela is a really interesting character, and her unique editorial history makes her stand out from the other children of Odin, including Thor.
Oats are full of essential nutrients and are a great source of energy. They also provide dietary fiber, a key part of healthy, balanced diets.
In a new study, researchers showed that the fiber content in oats can vary with the size of oat kernels. They recently published their research in Crop Science Journal, a publication of the Crop Science Society of America.
The kernel includes the edible seed and husk (outer shell) of the oat plant. That’s where most of the nutrients are concentrated.
Kernel size is a key parameter for growing and processing oats. Milling facilities processing oat usually prefer larger kernels. The oat industry also desires higher fiber content in oat crops.
According to the study, those two criteria—kernel size and fiber content in oats—appear to be at odds with each other. The researchers found that as oat kernel size increases, fiber content often decreases.
The study was led by Marcelo Pacheco, a researcher at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. Pacheco and colleagues focused on one major component of oat fiber called beta-glucan. They found that selecting during the breeding process for wider and thicker kernels lowered the amount of beta-glucan in those kernels.

Beta-glucans are soluble fibers. They have a host of health benefits. These include lowering total and LDL cholesterol levels.
“Oat breeding programs that aim to maintain minimum levels of beta-glucan for nutrition and minimum kernel widths for milling will need to screen for both traits,” wrote the study authors. “Otherwise, indirect selection will lead to unfavorable results.”
The researchers worked with more than 400 varieties of oats for the study. They wanted to know how different growing environments would affect oat kernel size and beta-glucan levels.
To test how environmental factors affect kernel size, the study was carried out in two different locations. The two oat crops were also grown in experimental fields during 2017 and 2018.
One study site was near Eldorado do Sul, a city near the coast in southern Brazil. The second study site was further inland, near Lodrina City, also in southern Brazil.
All aspects of oat kernel size—width, length, and thickness—varied in the two different study sites. That’s important because kernel size also affected beta-glucan levels.
The study showed that “kernel width and kernel thickness were…correlated with beta-glucan content, regardless of environment,” the authors wrote. “This suggests that the selection of wider and thicker kernels could inadvertently decrease beta-glucan content in oats.”

To help oat breeders develop new varieties while balancing kernel size and beta-glucan levels, Pacheco and colleagues delved deeper into the genetics of oat kernel size.
They wanted to know which parts of oat DNA controlled kernel size. To do that, they used a technique called a genome-wide association study.
Central to this technique is the concept that certain parts of an organism’s DNA—or genome—control certain traits. For example, specific portions of the human genome control eye color. Likewise, certain portions of the oat genome control the kernel width and beta-glucan content.
Knowing which regions of the oat genome control kernel size can help breeders trying to engineer new oat varieties.
For the study, researchers determined the complete DNA sequence of each of the hundreds of oat varieties tested. They also took meticulous measurements of kernel dimensions for each oat variety. Then they connected tiny differences in the DNA sequences with differences in kernel size.
Analysis of these results yielded four different regions of the oat genome that regulate kernel size. This gives future oat breeding programs information on where to look on the genomes of potential crossbreeding projects.
“Our results provide valuable information for a better understanding of the…relationship between kernel shape and beta-glucan content in oats,” the authors wrote.
In the future, Pacheco and colleagues will try to identify parts of the oat genome that control both kernel size and beta-glucan levels.

Among Delaware’s 2022 Secretary Scholars are: from left, top row, Sara Sobocinski, Alaina McPherson, Araf Jahin; bottom row, Paulina Lopez-Gomez, Jasnoor Saini and Quinlyn Long.
In a tradition that dates nearly 40 years, the secretary of education at the Delaware Department of Education has published a list of Secretary Scholars.
This year, Secretary of Education Mark Holodick honored 89 high school seniors across the state with the award.
In a press release, he called the students the kind of leaders the state needs and said he was impressed with what the students achieved through all the COVID-19 pandemic challenges.
“During their high school careers they have persevered through school building closures, remote learning, hybrid learning and the transition back to full-time face-to-face instruction,” he said in the press release. “Not only have they earned high academic accolades, they are leaders in their schools, athletic teams and communities. Many have balanced impressive class schedules and extracurricular calendars with part-time jobs and volunteer service.”
Scholars who have performed exceptionally academically while also leaving their footprint on their community are selected by each high school for Holodick to honor.

BLACK DECKER VPX1212X LI ION 14.4 VOLT VPX DRILL DRIVER DOWNLOAD
admin March 21, 2021 0 Comments
Because of alibaba’s rule ,we can’t put much low-access products on our list. This Drill Driver’s high-power, high-efficiency motor delivers unit watts out of maximum power that can breeze through the toughest drilling and fastening applications. Both the drill and the impact driver smelled like they were burning. The Makita are terrible and loosen if you look at them, the Milwaukee are not much better, the Hitachi are also poor at keeping a drill bit tightly clamped in the chuck. So there’s a bit of an art to it and this applies to all drywall guns, not just this one. You can’t be overly careful with the thing, you have to put a screw on and jam it in with one quick decisive motion.
I guess it’s supposed to illuminate the drill tip at the point of contact but it only lights up the area below the actual area you need lighted.
It’s incredible how much torque such vlx1212x small piece of equipment can generate.
Cheap Kawasaki volt Cordless Drill Driver 2 batt | Best Drills Power Tools
I’m ashamed to admit that I didn’t buy it from Amazon because I found it cheaper on E High quality Aweite 35amp mah rechargeable 3. I’m mostly just an around the house DIY user and this drill has worked gpx great for me. Aside from that huge issue. Used a lot of different Dewalt cordless tools during the construction, and all performed flawlessly.
dewalt drill bit set
The supplier supports Trade Assurance — A free service that protects your orders from payment to delivery. Best Regards See all customer reviews I really hope this was a one-off incident. Setting the depth is foolproof, and the depth stays consistent.
I’m also hoping that I don’t get the dreaded “wobbly chuck” problem that others have mentioned with the new drill It isn’t an impact driver drill, which makes is slightly less powerful. It’s nice to see that dewalt has stayed with the same battery configuration since my first drill back yrs ago. I drill alot of hillbilly holes in metal as well as wood and this drill has what it takes.
2 Pack 7V mAh Li-ion Black & Decker VPX Battery for VPX VPXX VPX VPX
Vapor Giant Mini Clone This is my first Lithium ION cordless tool Use this to increase your cutting efficiency and decrease your work I love the nosecone. No need for the 18, too heavy. Plus it has enought power to drive large screws as well.
Ever see “The Money Pit”? This saw is super heavy duty and very sharp. I gave out before the second battery did about time to put some fish on the grill. Until Dewalt gets its act together and fixes the chuck wobble, I recommend looking elsewhere.
I also started to smell something burning, so looked at the motor part of the drill and pulled the trigger. You won’t just pick this thing up and start using it like a pro.

Supplier Types Trade Assurance. Great for around the house By DWC Like the reviewer that gave this drill 1 star, I also got this on the gold box deal. Our guys don’t mind this and care more about how well the drill performs. Supplier Types Trade Assurance. Rechargeable Lithium Li-Ion But for either job, I’m totally happy with its performance.
I had done a bunch of xecker and was actually about to buy a corded drill since they are cheaper and don’t have the environmental impact of the battery. With more strict regulations to li-ion battery in air shipment. What more do you need?
For this reason alone, I would rate the Milwaukee just ahead of the Bosch.
Split-level bedrooms and natural finishes characterise this complex in Cancún, Mexico, by Kiltro Polaris, WEWI, and JC Arquitectura.
The 14-unit project, dubbed Domus Peepem, is located in Colonia Donceles, a neighbourhood of Cancún that was developed in the 1980s as social housing for the many workers employed in the area’s tourism industry.
The project has 14 units
“After Hurricane Wilma (2005) it suffered considerable damage, which led to the abandonment of many homes and detonated a high degree of urban and social decline,” said Kiltro Polaris, a firm with offices in Cancún and Mexico City.
The project was completed in partnership with two other Mexican architecture studios, WEWI and JC Arquitectura.
Kiltro Polaris, WEWI and JC Arquitectura designed the apartment block
Although the project cannot be considered social housing under Mexican regulations, the architects’ goal was to promote a certain socioeconomic range for the unit’s occupants, in contrast to the existing model which separates workers and visitors.
“Domus Peepem was conceived as a residence where 14 inhabitants can coexist alongside visitors to the commercial premises. Today, the building is inhabited by diverse types of people: couples without children, young professionals, people starting a new stage in their lives, and tourists who rent through digital platforms,” said the team.
On the third floor, the units have taller ceilings, with mezzanines above the living spaces
“Not only do the neighborhood residents mingle with new inhabitants, but also foreign travelers are now included, generating a new dynamic and connections in the neighborhood,” they added.
Domus Peepem is comprised of two narrow buildings separated by a communal green space. Each of the buildings contains commercial units on the ground floor, six one-bedroom apartments, and a rooftop penthouse with a pool.
The walls and floors of interior are polished concrete
The apartments have a compact layout that separates the kitchen, living and dining area from the sleeping area with a tall step. Each unit has a balcony overlooking the plaza, which adds a sense of security to the plaza, claimed the architects.
“Regardless of their size, they are dignified and well-lit, with natural ventilation and a sense of spaciousness,” said the architects.
Small kitchens feature in the compact apartments
On the third floor, the units have taller ceilings, with mezzanines above the living spaces. The penthouse level has a smaller apartment with direct access to the swimming pool.
“From there, the context surrounding the building unfolds through vistas of the neighborhood, the sea, a neighboring golf course, and the rooftops of other homes,” said the architects
Kiltro Polaris and its partners sought to create an efficient construction process that would avoid any unnecessary costs. For example, the design foregoes paint in favour of a plaster-like material that was used to seal the concrete walls.
“Inside, the block walls were plastered with putty that was polished and brightened with wax, so that no paint was needed,” the architects explained.
Rougher materials contrast with tropical wood. Photo by Oscar Hernández
Kiltro Polaris’ team selectively contrasted these rougher materials with tropical wood species for interior finishing and furniture, stone accents in the bathrooms, and plenty of greenery within communal areas, staircases, and the building’s many balconies.
