Raleigh Bermuda has recognized six young Bermudians as Raleigh Volunteers of the Year: Chloe Baron, Jawonday Smith, Jahkera Tucker, Kandrea Romaine, Tajshana Tucker, and Kerilynn Pacheco.
Dany Pen, Raleigh Executive Director said, âTo see our young Bermudians step up to tackle a community crisis has been the most amazing thing to witness. The Raleigh Emergency Relief Team highly deserves this recognition. The Raleigh Board, Staff and Alumni Family deeply admires and respects the Relief Team. On behalf of the Raleigh Family, thank you!â
The six young Bermudians came together in 2020 at the start of the pandemic to create the Raleigh Alumni Emergency Relief Programme to “tackle the community crisis of food insecurity, unemployment, and mental health amongst young Bermudians between the ages of 18 â 35 years old who are also alumni of Raleigh Bermuda.”
