Danilo Echeverri is a Biological Engineer from the National University of Colombia and currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences at the Max Planck Tandem Group in Nanobioengineering (MPTG-N) from the University of Antioquia. During his Ph.D. degree, he is developing hand-on-skills in the development of electrochemical glycan-based biosensors for the diagnosis of diseases. His areas of interest include nanobiotechnology, electrochemistry, and (bio)sensors.
Andrés F. Cruz-Pacheco is a Chemist and MSc in chemistry from the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica of Colombia. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences at the Max Planck Tandem Group in Nanobioengineering (MPTG-N) from the University of Antioquia. He is developing hand-on-skills on synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanostructured electrochemical biosensors in diagnostic during his Ph.D. degree. His areas of interest include nanomaterials, electrochemistry, and (bio)sensors.
Jahir Orozco is the group leader of the Max Planck Tandem Group in Nanobioengineering (MPTG-N), at the University of Antioquia, Colombia. He is a Chemist from the University of Antioquia and Ph.D. from the University of Barcelona and Institute for Microelectronics of Barcelona (Spain), 2008. He spent a year as a postdoc at the Observatoire Oceanologique de Banyuls sur Mer (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, France), training in molecular tools for pathogens monitoring and 4 years as a postdoc at the Department of Nanoengineering in UCSD (USA) developing nanomotors for biomedical and environmental applications. After being a Severo Ochoa Excellence Fellow at the Catalan Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Spain) for 1.5 years he started his own group at the University of Antioquia. His areas of interest include nanobiotechnology, nanomotors, nanocarriers, electrochemistry, chemical (bio)sensors, nano(micro)devices, and development of analytical tools for environmental and clinical applications.
