There once were two trucks, it is true,
Both rented through Turo to pursue.
The Ford plowed through crowds,
The Tesla, so loud,
Outside a Trump hotel in Vegas, too.
There once was a lad quite astute,
Played ball at Princeton to boot,
He worked at a firm in New York,
At 27, he had quite the spark,
His skills were beyond dispute.
There once was a suspect so sly,
In Gracie Mansion, he did apply,
Took a holiday item,
Showed cops, so they’d cite him,
From the bathroom, he could not deny.
There once was a whale named Tahlequah,
Who carried her calf with great awe,
In grief she did mourn,
Her sorrow was worn,
A tale of love without flaw.
There once was a driver of a truck
Who left at least 14 dead, oh what muck
Officials believe
He acted alone, to deceive
A heartless act, pure cold-hearted yuck
There once was a man named Cheney,
Investigating Jan 6 so brainy,
With Thompson by his side,
They dug deep and wide,
Uncovering truths quite uncanny.
There once was a truck quite bizarre,
Packed with fireworks, fuel, oh what a star!
It exploded in sight,
Of Trump’s hotel that night,
Cybertruck’s blast seen from near and far.
There once was a leader-elect,
Who shared anti-immigrant effect,
Misinformation spread,
From Fox News, it was fed,
A blunder that many regret.
There once was a nurse, mother, and star,
Whose lives ended tragically bizarre,
On Bourbon Street’s way,
A pickup truck’s stray,
To their loved ones, they’re now very far.
There once was a crash late at night
Just outside a house, what a fright
The Honolulu Fire Department came
To put out the flame
In a statement, they shed some light
