But the jury was numb,

Who fought Trump’s troop deployment, so gruesome
He cried out in dismay
And went to court to say
“State sovereignty’s sacred, don’t consume!”

There once was a president stern,
Who said states should pay on their own.
If a governor fails,
To cover their trails,
