Searchers used drones, boats, and choppers,
To rescue those in flood waters proper.
Victims stranded in trees,
Saved with much expertise,
By heroes who never did falter.
Two dozen girls from camp in dismay
Went missing the very next day
Devastating floods in Texas Hill
Left parents with a chill
Hoping their daughters will find their way
A veteran Dem strategist, so wise,
Said, “One issue will be our prize.
We’ll run on it ’til twenty twenty six,
With Anderson Cooper in the mix.”
Their strategy sure caught our eyes.
There once was a man named Kelley,
Stormed the Capitol, acting so smelly.
Though pardoned for that,
He’ll still wear a hat,
In prison for plotting quite deadly.
There once was a mother dismayed
Pulled her child from the daycare parade
She was filled with such fright
Her decision felt right
Now her toddler at home will have stayed
There once was a man named Bannon
Who spent Independence Day brawlin’
With tech billionaires, poor sod
In a feud thought to be odd
Now his podcast may soon be gone
There once was a camp, Camp Mystic,
Where girls went missing, quite mystic.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said,
Twenty-three were not in bed,
Their whereabouts, truly cryptic.
There once was a channel named Merit,
Accused Trinity of acts of sabotage, they did it,
They fought over the airwaves,
Trying to make it right in different ways,
But in the end, it was all just a hit.
There once was a woman named Dennett
Whose son caused quite a violent upset
He shot a deputy dead
Which led to her being led
In South Carolina, she’s caught in the net
There once was a man who claimed in a hurry,
His cruel words were published in error, quite blurry.
Backlash he did face,
For his bald-faced disgrace,
Now he’s sorry, feeling quite sorry.
