There once was a girl who went astray
Her parents let the suspect come their way
Said she needed a place to stay
Now the girl is missing, oh dismay
To the police, her parents had to sway
There once was a man on a plane,
Who caused quite a bit of disdain,
For he started to eat,
So they summoned the fleet,
ICE agents to make him refrain.
There once was a host named Steele,
Who made quite a shocking reveal,
Discussing ICE’s past,
Bombshell testimony amassed,
Intrigued viewers could not conceal.
There once was a president named Macron
Accepted a resignation as dawn
He praised the move, so rare
Said it showed great care
Responsibility he saw, never gone
There once was a lady named Curtis,
Whose first kiss with an actor caused a stir,
On live TV they did smooch,
While guests on “The Dinah Shore Show”,
Their romance was quite the allure!
There once was a rapper so grand,
Who proposed to the women’s hockey band.
Team USA said “yes”,
What a joyous success,
As they stood hand in hand, hand in hand.
There once was a paper so bold
Owned by Rupert Murdoch, we’re told
It set its sights high
On the next midterm’s sky
With news stories captivating and old
Everything is so political,
U.S. star Jack Hughes said quite cynical,
In the world of fame,
It’s all just a game,
Playing dirty can be quite critical.
There once was a storm on the way,
The weather service did say,
More snow in the region,
Could cause quite a commotion,
Let’s hope it won’t ruin our day.
There once was a girl with blood on her shirt,
Which caused me to freeze and not avert,
Fear rooted me in place,
With a pale, ghostly face,
As I watched, feeling deeply perturbed.
