There once was a glass expert in 2022,
Diagnosed with a glioblastoma, it’s true,
Despite the grim fate,
He continued to create,
His passion for ceramics still grew.
There once was a senator from South Carolina
Whose death came as quite a surprise, ya
At age seventy-one
His final moments done
Were detailed in a report, quite a panorama
A senator from South Carolina late,
Became one of the president’s best mate,
In politics hand in glove,
Allies bound by true love,
Their bond grew strong as of late.
There once was a woman named Miller
Whose response left many feeling quite bitter
She was called an empty husk
For her actions, many did cuss
When compared to Biden, she seemed quite a quiller
There once was a president boasting,
Of ratings that weren’t even coasting.
But the numbers he’d tout,
Were filled with much doubt,
His approval was really just ghosting.
There once was a captain named Kane
Red-carded by fans for his claim
He confessed his mistake
And faced the backlash’s ache
In England, he lost his good name
There once was a man named Graham,
Whose actions brought much shame,
Schmidt didn’t mourn his end,
But the country he did rend,
Graham’s legacy will forever be stained.
There once was a field at MetLife,
Where players would squawk in much strife,
The surface was bad,
It made them quite mad,
The complaints about it were rife.
There once was a late-night host
Who came back from his break to roast
A longtime GOP lawmaker
His jokes were quite sharp, no faker
The audience laughed the most
NATO allies and Israel too,
Honored Graham for all that he’d do.
They paid tribute with pride,
For the ties that he’d ride,
A friend of trans-Atlantic view.
