There once was a team from Argentina,
FIFA said they caused a big dilemma.
Disciplinary action was taken,
For rules that were forsaken,
Now they face consequences that are not minima.
There once was a man named Hadi Matar,
Motivated by Khomeini’s memoir,
He sought Rushdie’s death,
With each passing breath,
Prosecutors now seek justice, au revoir.
There once was a trial in the Senate,
For Ghislaine Maxwell, they were lenient.
Bipartisanship showed its face,
In this high-profile case,
Agreeing on justice was expedient.
There once were some troops in Jordan,
Whose phones they were planning to abandon.
They were told to give them up,
In a confiscation abrupt,
Leaving them feeling quite forlorn.
There once was a woman named Tarlov,
Who warned that Trump’s talk wasn’t all bluff,
She said with a frown,
“His words will bring us down,”
And left us all feeling quite rough.
There once was a man named Infantino
Who tried to align with Trump, you know
His efforts were in vain
But he tried again and again
In FIFA’s orbit he sought to go.
There once was a niece of the president
Who claimed her uncle’s wealth was spent
In ways that were not quite ideal
She spoke out with a great deal of zeal
And caused quite a stir with her lament.
A demographic group starting to roll
Abandoning the President’s control
New poll data reveals
His support quickly peels
Leaving him with a deep sinking hole
There are signals that Alyssa does scoff,
But the alarms are all going off,
With a glare and a frown,
She just can’t keep them down,
Alyssa knows she must not turn off.
There once was a legend so grand,
Who warned us to take a strong stand,
To prevent our own demise,
With wisdom so wise,
Let’s heed his words throughout the land.
