There once was a crisis so dire,
With food and gas costs much too high.
Americans struggling to get by,
The prices just seem to fly,
An affordability crisis they can’t retire.
A data guru claimed with a swoon,
Numbers like these are a boon.
Determining elections,
With precise selections,
The president’s collapse came too soon.
There once was a strategist, so bold,
Who railed against Trump, we’re told,
In Washington, D.C.,
He designed gauche glee,
In limericks, his story is told.
There once was a man from Florida,
Who abused athletes under the radar,
He thought he could hide,
But the law was on his side,
Now in jail, he’ll be seen from afar.
There once was a judge named Tim Kelly,
Who found revocation to be quite smelly.
The journalists’ rights had been breached,
Their due process rights impeached,
In the White House, things got quite upswelly.
There once was a farmer in crisis,
Whose fuel bill had spiked to great prices,
He spoke out with distress,
As his funds grew much less,
In the national farm crisis he rises.
There once was a man from a suburb,
Bloodied and injured, a disturbing blur,
In an encounter with the law,
Left with wounds and sore,
In Chicago where things occurred.
There once was a star and director
Whose film was a family protector
They discussed flight and forgiveness
And how kids see love in its fullness
In a drama that was a perfect reflector
There once was a lady on Fox,
Her comments caused quite a shock,
Interview was softball,
But one comment, a curveball,
In limericks, we love to talk.
There once was a president named Trump
Whose base began to feel a slight bump
As support for Iran war did sway
With gas prices rising each day
And U.S. troops in harm’s way they did jump.
