There once was a person who cried,
To the police they did confide,
A plea to commit suicide,
The police said, “No need to hide,”
And they helped them get through the tide.
There once was a man named Talarico,
Who on social media caused quite the show.
Protecting his foes,
From looking like hoes,
Many didn’t think he should stoop so low.

Despite a judge’s legal views,
Reporters fought back,
With no room for slack,
Press freedom, they vowed to pursue.

Whose social media spree took hold
But after a tragedy,
Caused a fierce mutiny
Backlash his actions foretold.
There once was a man named Trump,
Who claimed that “God made me a champ.”
With lions and lavish praise,
He ruled his days,
In the end, his empire did crump.
There once was a Rep. Kinzinger
Who said with a look that did linger
“You can’t be serious”
His tone was imperious
A limerick about him, I’ll ginger

Who shared a video that caused a furore
Running for governor, you see
Her actions caused some glee
In Tennessee, her name they’ll adore

Testing limits of federal authority,
Reuters delved deep,
Uncovered secrets to keep,
In-depth investigation, oh the clarity!
There once was a cost jump so steep,
From August to September, a leap.
The increase was quite large,
In five months, it’s in charge.
0.6% up from 0.4%, prices now creep.
There once was a man named Harris
Blaming diesel costs on one party, he’d embarrass
His words drew some laughter
In a debate thereafter
For his claims were quite baseless, the impudent ignoramus
