There once was a bill signed with might
To close loopholes that caused quite a fright
No more underage practice in sight
Ended a 10-year fight
Now the law is clear and tight
There once was a man named Trump,
Who claimed a country is involved in a slump,
He did not elaborate why,
Leaving us all to speculate and sigh,
His vague statements caused quite a jump.
There once was a man named Rove,
Who said we must all stay in the grove.
Starting at the White House,
With the president’s political douse,
Focus is what we need to improve.
There once was a man of mystery,
Whose mind worked in ways contrary,
“We’ll have to see,”
He said with glee,
His thoughts a fascinating journey.
There once was a show from down South
That targeted the president’s mouth
In its final display
It had plenty to say
About leadership headed due south
There once was a woman named Mary,
Whose questions left Donald Trump wary,
In an essay so wide,
His misogynistic side,
Was exposed for all to be wary.
There once was a Trump daughter-in-law
Challenged on a video flaw
Of a disconnect clear
With Americans near
In struggles, they saw a jaw.
There once was a president, grim,
Whose insults came with a lengthy spin.
He whined about the media’s take,
And how coverage was fake,
But critics just saw his thin skin.
There once was a rapper named Ross,
Accused by an ex with much loss,
The attorney did claim,
The charges were a game,
Motives of the ex had much gloss.
There once was a man named Trump
Who thought the Act was a good jump
He said, “I could use it,
A lot of people think I should use it,”
But the Act was left in the dump.
