There once was a man named Trump
Criticism from Republicans, he did trump
Taxpayer-funded ads caused a fuss
Even his allies said it was unjust
For his actions, he faced a big thump
There once was a man who would spew
False statements, claiming they were true
His words were all lies
Despite many tries
He couldn’t fool me or you.
There once was a man so clever
Who didn’t see things getting any better
He felt quite dismayed
As troubles never strayed
But he knew he’d find a way to weather
There once was a screen legend so grand,
Who played the chair of the FCC, hand in hand.
Interrupting Kimmel with glee,
For an “inspection” to see,
Oh, what a stunt so unplanned.
There once was a woman named Lisette,
Who drove cross-country, you bet,
To fire her rifle with glee,
At Rihanna and A$AP, you’ll see,
Now she’s facing quite the upset.
There once was a dad from Detroit,
Whose toddler caused quite the exploit,
Pulled out a gun,
Oh what had been done,
Authorities found out to their chagrin.
There once was a Senator named Schmitt,
Who ranted in a hostile fit.
He embarrassed himself,
Against Jack Smith’s wealth,
In a tirade that just didn’t quite fit.
There once were two folks of seventy-seven
Who killed their son-in-law, a true reckon
In the park, a shot rang
It’s a tragic sad pang
Now they face charges, their fate is now given
There once was a DA with a plan
To not prosecute, much to a fan
But a transcript arose
And new questions it posed
About the woman and what began
In northern Iraq troops took their leave,
The last air base now alone bereave.
Under an accord so grand,
Between Baghdad and our land,
Departing with no need to grieve.
