Whose claims of innocence were told.
But prosecutors, unswayed,
In court they have stayed,
And his story they refuse to uphold.
There once was a plan to confirm
Gabbard for intelligence, firm
Republicans in charge
Before Trump’s last barrage
Moving forward, this was their term

Explained the president-elect’s foreign plight,
He differentiated views,
For all of us to peruse,
In New York, the truth came to light.

In chaos, he seemingly took a stand.
The Republican House leader,
Ignored chaos – a misreader,
Forgot chaos, his ship hit the sand.
There once was a prez-elect’s online post,
“Oh Canada” it read, angering most.

Who pondered on why it’s so hectic,
The president-elect’s plan,
To merge with Canada, man!
She thought it was all quite eclectic.
There once was a late show host so sly,
Who used Trump’s own words to defy,
Roasting him with great glee,
O’er his inauguration decree,
In limericks, he bid Trump goodbye.
There once was a president-elect,
Whose press conference did detect,
The real gulf of America,
Said the late-night host with hysteria,
In a limerick of humor, it’s checked.

30,000 residents had to get
Evacuation orders were sent
13,000 structures, they meant
Under threat, the whole town was set

In November, her story was told.
In Florida, they say,
She’s one of ten lost in a terrible way,
By federal prosecutors, the truth will unfold.
