Firefighters in Los Angeles town,
Corral flames as the winds gain renown.
Churning along hillside,
Their efforts provide,
Hope that the fire will soon drown.
There once was a bid from D.C.
To supplant Russia’s monopoly.
A milestone was reached,
As history beached,
Europe’s top gas source to be.
There once was a reporter so keen,
Who spoke of a nickname obscene.
“President Musk,” he said,
Bothers the head,
Of the president-elect, unseen.
In effect for a few days, at least,
The ruling stands strong, not to be eased.
But some hope for change,
In this legal exchange,
As the final decision is ceased.
There once was a man named Trump,
Who to many seemed quite a grump.
His antics were bold,
Some found him too cold,
But his supporters would never dump.
There once was a pot and a kettle,
Their argument started to settle,
Said the pot to the kettle,
I see you’re not metal,
I’m black just like you, let’s not meddle.
There once was a man named Trump,
Whose immigration plans made some jump,
Legal challenges may ensue,
As he seeks to limit the crew,
But the outcome may be a bit of a slump.
There once was a plane that was grounded,
At Fort Lauderdale it was surrounded,
During inspection they did find,
Bodies left behind,
A mystery yet to be astounded.
There once was a congressman bold,
Whose thoughts on Trump he couldn’t withhold,
For director and defense,
He found no recompense,
In limericks his views he told.
A tech billionaire said with glee,
“Community notes like on X, you’ll see,
Will soon come to Facebook,
And Instagram will look
Like Musk’s platform, just wait and you’ll see.”
