There once was a judge from Mississippi,
Ordered a paper’s words to be swissy,
Mayor and leaders were miffed,
Sued for the words they sniffed,
In court, the judge ruled quite prissy.
There once was a President named Trump,
Who wanted to take over the dump.
He supported a bill,
For a federal thrill,
To control the nation’s capital with a thump.
There once was a Dem from Texas
Who accused conservatives of tactics
They fail to realize
How Trump’s administration flies
Dragging them to the “find out” phase.
There once was a host of Late Show,
Who found a tale of disaster, oh no!
But amid all the strife,
There was a miracle in life,
A story that truly did glow.
There once was a president’s remark,
Called “morally disgusting,” dark.
Yale’s Tim Snyder did claim,
An expert on such shame,
His words hit authoritarianism’s mark.
To dismiss it as anything less
Would be irresponsible, I must confess
Warned Mark Norman with care
Naive to be unaware
Of the consequences, don’t second guess
A Democratic lawmaker did say,
“Fighting cowards is our only way.”
With courage and might,
They’ll stand up and fight,
For justice, each and every day.
There once was a man named Nathaniel
Who wanted to intervene, he could tell
He believed no one was
Representing the cause
In the case against the mayor as well.
Once a skeptic of cryptocurrencies,
The president had his epiphanies.
A complete reversal,
Embracing digital dispersals,
No other official’s similarities.
There once was a man named Tom Homan,
Who wanted a Democrat to go to the slammer.
Turley said it’s an assault,
On free speech, don’t exalt.
Prosecution would be quite the drama.
