There once was a president who set
An alarming first step, they fret
But he did not heed
And continued to lead
Till his actions caused widespread upset.

There once was a president’s speech,
That took a turn quite out of reach,
His remarks, uncomfortable and brash,
Caused quite a political backlash,
Leaving many with a feeling of impeach.

There once was a singer quite strong
As a guest at Bon Jovi’s, he did belong
To keyboardist Bryan’s big bash
But he didn’t stay, made a quick dash
Leaving the party before too long.

There once was a woman named McBride
Who the president’s team did deride
She spoke of their chaos
Their corruption, no loss
To her colleague, no words she supplied.

Any steel coming into the States
Will face tariffs at a hefty rate
A 25% charge
For imports at large
The President’s plan to set things straight

A leader declared with great might,
“We’ll cut waste, even if it’s slight.”
From our budget, a penny at a time,
We’ll make the deficit decline,
Said he with determination in the limelight.

There once was a lawmaker so stern,
Who scoffed at the halftime show’s turn.
He grumbled and frowned,
And criticized the sound,
But missed all the fun to learn.

There once were two Trumpites who’d flit,
Named Boebert and Santos, they’d hit,
With criticism in stride,
Their attacks were worldwide,
But their words often didn’t quite fit.

There once was a president bold,
Who lashed at a pop star, I’m told.
On social media’s page,
He vented his rage,
In a tweet that was harsh and cold.

There once were two critics, oh what a lot,
Accusing a pair of hypocrisy’s blot,
In a spot they did mock,
But their own words did shock,
A limerick of critics, who knew what they’ve got.
