There once was a dad who found, quite dismaying,
His son’s brain in a box, so he started praying.
He was overwhelmed,
His composure, it helmed,
For such a discovery was truly heart-rending.
There once was a socialite quite disgraced
Who to the courts and the President raced
Her attorney did plea
For a ruling that’s just and free
Hoping her reputation could be embraced
A lawyer with great dedication,
Said, “This is an emergency situation,”
For the ACLU Foundation,
Urging for immediate action,
In defense of civil liberties’ preservation.
A man in Michigan with great harm,
Attacked shoppers with a knife arm.
Intent to murder and terror,
Charges they will confer,
In jail he’ll be kept safe from harm.
There once was a landlord so cold,
Sentenced for a crime so bold,
He killed a young child,
And left others defiled,
Now his fate the courts have told.
There once was a network so bright,
That followed the president’s light,
Turning attention with glee,
To a familiar boogeyman spree,
In analysis, it fell in line tight.
There once was a cop from Ohio,
Ambushed by a shooter, oh no!
While they parked to eat,
Their fate was complete,
Now their spirits in heaven do glow.
There once was a work by Sherald
Of Liberty, transgender revealed
The Gallery debated
If it should be fated
To stay or to be out on the world’s field
There once was a man named Kohberger,
Whose history with women was a stir.
In the 2022 attack,
Harrowing details came back,
Now his past is all but a blur.
There once was a host of “Daily Show”
Argued the president does know
Not to take to court
That former White House sort
A limerick that’s quick on the go
