The Trump admin, without a hint of wit,
Pushed states to detain migrants; that’s it,
They’d help foot the bill,
For a facility still,
A plan that many found quite unfit.
There once was a girl with a tale,
Of a meeting turned gruesome and pale,
After stabbing four kids,
Their talking forbid,
For her comfort did ultimately fail.
There once was a child in a car
Left inside for over five hours
The temperature soared
To a hundred and fifty or more
A tragic tale that left many in tears
There once was a chief on TV,
Who got busted for all to see,
His actions were severe,
Causing much fear,
Now his power is no longer free.
A man named Neiyerver Leon Rengel,
Was sent to a prison so cruel,
Beaten by guards without end,
Family and attorney, he couldn’t defend,
In that dark place, he felt like a fool.
There once was a man named Carr,
who hoped for changes, no flaw.
At CBS News, he did say,
that Skydance would pave the way,
for a brighter future, hurrah!
There once was a shooting in Manhattan
Off-duty officer was the victim
Trump blamed sanctuary
For the violent quandary
In a city where crime has been driven.
Three Republicans on the panel voted
With Democrats, their stance they promoted
For the subpoena they went
Defying Trump’s discontent
GOP leadership’s power demoted
There once was a man named Kohberger
Sentenced to life in the clink, no fair
For the murders he did commit
Of Mogen, Goncalves, Kernodle, and Chapin
Now he’ll rot in prison, beware
There once was a man in a suit,
Alivea spoke to him, resolute,
In an orange jumpsuit he sat,
Listening to her chat,
In the courtroom, a moment acute.
