A judge ruled with a strong hand
To halt Trump’s immigration stand
No more stops and arrests
In Southern parts, as requests
Now immigrants can freely stand
There once was a star named Ron Swanson,
Whose libertarian views were quite awesome.
He was cool with all folks,
And his humor evokes,
In “Parks & Rec” he shone like a sun.
There once was a man named Pete
Who knew forecasting can’t be beat
He warned of the floods
In Texas’ muds
Emergency response is no easy feat.
There once was a woman named Wren,
Who ignored a subpoena again.
She was slammed for her act,
To the Capitol police, it’s a fact,
A limerick for Caroline then.
There once was a lawyer from Texas,
Whose wife divorced him to avoid all the stress,
He blamed political attacks,
And public scrutiny’s cracks,
In the end, they both cleaned up their mess.
There once was a man named Fetterman,
Whose comments were considered quite grand,
But many found it strange,
That his views would rearrange,
Towards the center since he took up the stand.
There once was a worker named Harris
Whose life was cut short, oh how unfair is
A mother of six
She was in the mix
At McDonald’s for over ten years, her career is
There once was a man named Stewart,
Who mocked Trump for trying to divert,
From Epstein’s client list,
That officials insist,
Was a bomb they had cleverly blurt.
There once was a flood in Kerr County
Where over 170 people were left unaccounted for
The waters rose high, causing despair
Rescuers searched with great care
Hoping to find them safe once more
There once was a staff quite brave
At a surgical center they gave
To immigration agents they spoke
For a Honduran landscaper they broke
Their courage on video they save.
