There once was a Trump insider,
Who tore into the president wider,
For selling out his MAGA mates,
His words stung like wasp that hates,
Leaving supporters feeling like spider.
The US is destined for greatness,
In the Winter Games, they’ll create new states.
With talent so high,
They’ll reach for the sky,
And win gold in Italy’s snow-filled gates.
There once was a man quite terrible,
Elected by voters unbearable,
Protesters did cry,
Asking how, oh why?
For his actions were truly deplorable.
There once was a skater named Kamila,
At fifteen, she faced quite a tequila,
Ineligible now,
For the next Olympics, wow,
Her story caused quite a big thrill-a.
Thousands gathered with one intent
To protest the agents who were sent
Their message was clear
The violence they fear
In unity, their voices were lent.
There once was a comic so clever,
Who roasted a network forever.
With an on-air zinger,
The comedian did bring her,
To join in the hosting endeavor.
There once was a forecast so grim,
Extra-cold conditions with no whim,
From the Gulf Coast it spread,
To New England it led,
A warning for all, not just a whim.
There once was a host named Trevor Noah,
At the Grammys, confusion did show.
He quipped with a smile,
“I love live television” style,
In the moment of Record of the Year flow.
There once was a pontiff, concerned,
With tensions and violence that burned,
He called for dialogue,
To prevent the flog,
And stop the suffering we’ve all learned.
There once were some stars who did render
Kendrick, Gaga, and Bunny, so tender
In the night they did fight
For the top spot so right
But only one will be the big spender
