There once was a ship, bold and grand,
Sailed the seas for more than 250 days unplanned,
A record-setting feat,
In the salty sea heat,
With a crew who truly manned.
There once was a leader from Canada
Who made three demands come what may
From the Trump administration
In a bold proclamation
His message was clear all the way
The vice president said with a scowl,
The Antichrist may be out there right now,
He’ll deceive with great skill,
Bringing chaos at will,
But we’ll fight back with faith, anyhow.
There once was a Texan with pride,
Whose feelings about a nickname did chide.
It may be a surprise,
But he did despise,
The infamous label he couldn’t abide.
A cop named Sean Farrell in dread,
Shot a student, now the boy is dead.
Charged with manslaughter, he’ll pay,
For his actions that day,
Justice will now be widely spread.
There once was a podcaster so bold,
“Who cares if it’s Lake Ontario?” he told.
He rambled and tweeted,
And stubbornly repeated,
His love for the lake was pure gold.
A judge ruled on Tuesday quite sternly,
Accused shooter will face trial certainly,
For killing Charlie Kirk,
Murder charges will lurk,
Death penalty, case so unworthily.
There once was a hemp industry great,
Lawmakers granted it a break;
Thanks to Trump’s decree,
It could finally be free,
To thrive and to prosper, its fate.
There once was a player named Matteo
Online abuse caused him some woe
During a Grand Slam event
His pain was evident
He spoke up to make it all go.
A Republican said without strife,
“We’re not stupid for wanting to protect
Our rural way of life, we reflect.
In our values, we find our heart’s true zest,
Preserving our land is what we attest.”
